Lily lets out a sigh of relief and looks at the man beside her.
He is dressed in a red robe, showing his tall and slender figure. Louis Smith, how gentle and elegant he is!
He looks handsome no matter what he wears.
She stares blankly at Louis. Louis politely bends over to talk with the little girl, asking her in a gentle tone why she ran so fast.
"Because big brother doesn't give me snacks, and he runs away..." says the little girl in a tone full of grievance.
"That's not nice. The big brother should care for his little sister."
"Yes..."
Seeing Louis chatting with the little girl, Lily sweetly smiles, imagining Louis playing with the kids in the garden.
Louis, playing water gun with his son, looks helpless while happy being shot and is willing to pretend to be his daughter's little pony.
He has to comfort the kids when they are in a fight. The kids probably cry so loudly that it even gives Louis a headache. Even so, he has to try his best to calm down the kids in a gentle way.
What a loving and sweet scene!
After Louis finished chatting with the little girl, he stands up and holds her small hand, trying to send her back. He raises his head and sees Lily standing in the middle of the road. Her skin, as bright as jade, is covered in a red wedding dress.
She smiles slightly. Her eyes are so charming that no one can take the eyes off her.
A trace of astonishment flashes through Louis' eyes.
He doesn't expect Lily to look so good in a wedding dress. She is gorgeous in a delicate way.
He wants to hide her to himself.
Noticing Louis has stopped, the little girl curiously looks in the direction of his gaze.
The little girl exclaims when she sees Lily, "Wow, she is so beautiful!"
Both Lily's and Louis' thoughts are interrupted by the girl's voice at the same time.
Lily turns away her gaze and says calmly, "I'm ready for the shooting."
"OK. Let me send the little girl back first." Louis tries to stay calm but fails when looking at her. His eyes look so dark and full of emotions, "You're gorgeous today."
The little girl looks at Lily's clothes and then at Louis’ clothes. She seems to have discovered something as her dark eyes suddenly widened. "Are you two going to get married?"
"Yes," Lily hesitates for a moment, then adds quickly, "but in a film."
Louis frowns a little. "Come on, girl. I'll send you back."
"Alright!"
Just as they are about to leave, the little girl's brother runs back.
"Why are you holding my sister?" The little boy rushes over and pulls the little girl behind him, staring at Louis vigilantly.
"Big brother, that uncle is not a bad person. He says he will send me back!"
The boy lectures her, "Will the bad person tells you that he is a bad person?"
"But that uncle is handsome!"
"The more handsome he is, the easier for him to deceive a child!" The boy continues, but in the meantime, he puts the rest snacks into the little girl's hand. Then the boy takes her hand and says, "Let's go!"
"Wow, you give me all the rest snacks! Do you save it for me?"
The boy snorts, "I'm just afraid of tooth decay! I'll be happy if you get tooth decay!"
"I love you, brother!"
Lily watches the two kids leaving hand in hand and begins to laugh when looking at the unhappy Louis, "Fortunately, he doesn't call his parents over and accuses you of kidnapping and selling children."
Louis Smith glances at her, helplessly, "I just want to send her back."
"Oh? Or maybe the little girl is so cute that inspires your father's instinct," says Lily jokingly, "I don't think you're willing to let go of the little girl's hand."
A gentle kiss lands on her lips behind the thin veil.
'A, a real kiss?'
Lily is astonished, but she keeps silent and closes her eyes when she feels Louis around her.
She has told herself countless times to stay away from Louis and live her own life, but she meets him wherever she goes. As a result, she keeps thinking about him, and her wild imagination is always accompanied by insomnia.
She thinks she has let go, but in fact, she can't.
No one expects Louis to kiss Lily. They are all stunned, breathing lightly to avoid disturbing the couple.
The shooting set is tranquil.
After a while, the director coughs and says, "Perfect. Cut!"
Lily hurriedly turns around to distance herself from Louis. She starts to blush, and her lips compress into a thin line--she can still feel that kiss.
Only a few acts of the 1900s to shoot, plus Lily and Louis are getting more and more familiar with the acting work. The shooting is finished in just two days.
The team returns to the homestay family to rest and prepare to shoot the last modern clip the day after tomorrow.
Louis’ kiss gives others something to gossip about. Lily finds that the way the team looks at her has changed.
Dinner time. After Louis arrives, everyone gazes at her and Louis as if asking whether they are a real couple. Lily is very embarrassed.
She has never expected Louis to kiss her in front of the whole team.
What's more, she is actually into it!
"No shootings today?" Willow comes with a plate of green mangoes in her hand, "I heard that you kissed Mr. Smith on the shooting set. Is that true?"
"Drop it, please?" Lily glances at her and says helplessly.
"Alright, alright." Willow hands the plate to her, "Green mango, sour and sweet at the same time. Try some with chilli pepper."
