To drive the point home, Kyle signaled an associate, who opened a briefcase crammed with stacks of hundred-dollar bills—over a million in cash.
"If you agree to sell Haven Connect today, this is yours upfront. Consider it a goodwill gesture."
Most young men would tremble at the sight of that much money. But Jack's eyes held no greed—only calm resolve.
"Sorry. Haven is my team's life's work. It's not for sale."
Undeterred, Kyle leaned in and continued to persuade Jack.
