A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 596

The atmosphere of the banquet immediately turned more lively. George approached the table Jack was seated at after he was done toasting the first table. The guests at the table rose to their feet with their wine glasses raised after noticing George's imminent approach.

George swept his gaze in an arc across the guests at the table. His eyes lingered on Alexi and Jack before a bright smile broke across his face.

Quietly, he said, "My dear students, most of you here were my students once upon a time. As your previous homeroom teacher, I'm so immensely proud to be able to witness your wonderful accomplishments today."

He paused for a moment before continuing, "I can't help but recall the memories from over two decades ago when I look at all of you. You were so young then, and I wasn't as old as I am now. It's hard to believe that 20 years have passed by just like that. All of you have become the pillars of this country while I have finally aged."

His words triggered melancholy feelings in the hearts of the former classmates who were present at the table. He was right. Time waited for no one, after all. 20 years had passed in just the blink of an eye. Their previous homeroom teacher now had a full head of white hair, while they themselves were already middle-aged.

George grinned before changing the topic. "But I'm very happy today! Although we've all grown old, Alnewgo University's future is secured. Every generation will have their fair share of talents."

The banquet hall was in uproar after the guests heard George's words. They stared at Jack with disbelief in their eyes. Jack was much too young. He was only a junior in the university, and yet he was the one responsible for founding Genesis Games? In their mind, they had always assumed that the founder was someone who was in their mid-forties.

Although Genesis wasn't a public-listed company yet, everyone who knew about the capabilities of the company predicted that it would have a market value of over 100 billion dollars. It was an extremely impressive achievement that would make anyone sigh in awe.
