“If you get me a lychee rose every morning. I’ll bring you lunch every noon. Let’s see who lasts longer 

Bernard broke into a grin, hus eyes bright as sunshine, lighting up the room. 

‘Mrs. Laurence, you’re such a gem.” 

“Im not that great, the first lunch was made by me, but the rest will be the chef’s job 

She didn’t have much time to cook, but… 

“On special occasions, I’ll cook for you” 

Eleanor finished, picking up mouthwash and handing it to Bernard He had a habit of cleaning his mouth after meals. 

Bernard took the mouthwash and headed for the bathroom. When he came out, he saw Eleanor leaning against the bookshelf, holding a book on management.

She clutched the bedsheet, stealing a glance at the bedside clock. As expected, two minutes had passed. 

When Bernard ended the kiss, he abruptly pulled away and cast a look at Eleanor. 

“Do you still want to leave now?” 

Eleanor defiantly replied. “Yes.” 

Bernard nodded and climbed off the bed. 

As she surveyed his smooth muscular lines, she perceived him as more than just attractive, he exuded a potent masculine allure. 

This robust masculine allure triggered her hormones, leaving Eleanor’s lips parched and inducing a sensation of thirst. 

But to take the initiative, that was impossible. She could never express her desires in this situation, it was too embarrassing! 

She pulled the blanket over her face, but also lifted a comer, secretly watching Bernand
