At around nine o’clock in the evening, Cecilia woke up and squatted in the kitchen with her hair scattered.
As soon as she sucked a mouthful of noodles; the screen of my phone lit up.
It’s Liam’s news.
Her hand stopped – since her “offensive” measurement problem, the other party has never replied to her again, and now the sudden message has made her a little alert.
She clicked on it and saw that it was indeed a string of numbers, with a note attached to it:
(The master said you want to pay for his suit, and was afraid that you would choose the wrong size, so i asked me to send you his size. I Cecilia stared at the numbers for several seconds, and the first thought popped ‘up in her mind was:
[ha???
What does this mean?
He… changed his mind? Do you want to give her a chance? !!
As soon as the thought came to an end, she immediately shook her head and threw out this unrealistic fantasy. The most taboo thing now is to be self-indulgent.
Another possibility is more reasonable: he is preventing her from getting closer again under the pretext of “repaying clothes” and blocking her “routine” in advance.
If she misunderstood and took a new suit to her, she would be embarrassed for herself.
She frowned and typed quickly on the screen:
(receive. The size is recorded and will be mailed as soon as possible after placing an order. ]
She pressed send and held her phone on the desk with satisfaction.
Meanwhile, apartments in Sebastian. Liam walked into the study and relayed the message to Sebastian on the sofa: “Cecilia said she wrote down the size and would mail it as soon as possible.”
Sebastian was wearing platinum-rimmed glasses and was looking dowt. at the book. When he heard this sentence, he just said “um” and didn’t even raise his eyelids.
He seemed calm, but Soren inside him was already restless, (She left. She chose to step back, and she has the “our” aura on her body, so why not get close to her? Why retreat?
Sebastian flipped through a page of the book, his movements slowly and his knuckles were silently tight. “If she doesn’t want to, don’t force her.” He said lightly.
Liam paused, a trace of helplessness flashed in his eyesDon’t want to? She just misunderstood…
He wanted to speak, but was afraid of talking too much, so he just nodded and retreated silently.
But Soren let out a hoarse growl.
(You said it easily.
She is ours.
But you watched her leave. ].
Sebastian closed his eyes and forced himself to suppress the impulse. He knew what Soren wanted to do-want to catch up, want to get close, want to mark her, have her.
But now is not the time.
Wait a little longer.
Cecilia walked out of the men’s boutique with her shopping bag in her hand, still typing quickly.
[Can you provide us with an address?] I’m ready to send it here. She sent the message to Liam.
She stood on the sidewalk, looking down and operating her phone, completely unaware of a black sedan not far away, the window rolled down slightly, and a camera was quietly pointed at her.
The shutter sounded silently, and several photos were quickly sent out, destined for Alpha Xavier’s private communication account.
At this point, Xavier had just finished the meeting and was back in the office.Beta Henry closed the door, and the room was quiet again.
His mind was still replaying the back he had seen at the golf club yesterday.
The short skirt, the waistline, the legs that are too familiar to be familiar.
It’s just a glance, but it’s like a hook, hanging on to his heart.
What disturbed him the most was the figure of the man beside her.
He knew what he had done. He has had “accidents”, and he has indeed indulged.
This house had been designed according to my wishes. Every item inside had been chosen by me. I’d even prepared an adorable nursery.
rd been aiming for forever, but now 1 was jumping ship halfway through the journey.
While cleaning out the bottom drawer of the study that hadn’t been opened in ges, I found an old USB drive in the corner. Curious, 1 plugged it into my computer and discovered it contained photos of Xavier and me from high school and college. He looked so pure and handsome back then.
As I flipped through these youthful photos, laughing and crying, it felt like I was transported back in time…
Suddenly, I wanted to revisit those memories.
To properly say goodbye to the Xavier from back then.
That evening, Xavier came home for dinner, something he rarely did anymore.
I hadn’t cooked for him.
I didn’t want to.
So instead, I tossed him a tin of survival rations I found buried in the back of the pantry-dusty, dented, and years past its prime.
He just stared at it.
“Or you could dine elsewhere,” I offered coolly.
“You seem to prefer everything outside this home anyway-other women, other beds… maybe even the scraps from someone else’s table taste better than what you get here.”
His mood darkened instantly.
“Other Alphas come home to warm meals and loyal mates. You hand me-this?” [I’m showing remarkable restraint by not lacing his drinks with silver dust] Too tired to argue, I said, “There’s one tomato hotpot. I was going to eat it myself, but you can have it.”
Now Xavier was truly angry. “..Have you forgotten I never eat tomatoes?” I smacked my forehead in mock realization. “Oh, I totally forgot.”
Xavier’s face turned icy. He stared at me for a long moment, then stalked out of the kitchen and went upstairs.
I carried my tomato hotpot to the dining room, found a comedy show to watch, and enjoyed my meal.
