Accidentally Yours
Chapter 130
Lola
12
“Goddammit, Lo!” Dom barked, lunging forward as the two women crashed into the back wall.
Nico moved faster, arms wrapping around Lola’s waist, hauling her up bodily as she kicked and snarled like a feral cat. “Put me down!” she snapped, nails catching Stephanie’s blouse and ripping it straight down the seam.
“You’re lucky I’m holding her,” Nico growled at Stephanie, voice dark with promise. “Because she would’ve ended you.”
Stephanie scrambled upright, hair sticking out, one cheek already blooming red. She grabbed the same pen and flung it across the counter, eyes wild. “Psycho bitch!”
“Goddamn fucking right,” Lola spat, eyes locked on her like she’d already planned the funeral.
“Ma’am!” A new voice cut in, sharp with authority. The hotel manager stormed across the marble, suit jacket flapping, face twisted in fury. “What the hell is going on here? We don’t tolerate this kind of behavior in our lobby-”
Dom shoved a hand through his hair, exhaling like he’d aged ten years in ten seconds. “Jesus fucking Christ.”
Nico’s grip cinched tighter as Lola tried to lunge again. “Only you, Lo. First thirty minutes in a new city and you’ve already started a war.”
Lola spat blood onto the marble, her grin wicked through the split in her lip. “And she deserved every second of it.”
The manager yanked the reservation folder off the counter, ready to toss them out–until his eyes landed on the embossed name. His face drained.
“Marchesi,” he breathed, throat bobbing hard. His tone flipped in an instant, crawling with dread. “Oh–ma’am, I am so sorry. We’ll take care of everything. Your suites, all services, anything you and your party require–it’s covered.”
He turned on Stephanie, glare sharp enough to cut her in half. “Apologize.”
Stephanie’s lip trembled. “I… I’m sorry.”
“Not good enough!” Lola snarled, straining against Nico’s arm until Dom practically shoved her toward the elevators.
“Upstairs. Now,” Dom hissed, iron–grip steady.
The manager bowed low, sweat beading at his temple, while Nico and Dom dragged Lola toward the elevators–her voice cutting sharp across the lobby one last time:
“If she calls me a whore again, I will finish it!”
The manager’s desperate nod was the last thing Lola saw before the elevator doors slid shut.
The suite door slammed behind them, Nico’s grip finally loosening as Lola stormed toward the bathroom. She caught sight of herself in the mirror and winced–black eye already blooming purple, lip split and swelling. She wet a towel, dabbing at the blood on her chin with
zero shame.

Behind her, Dom paced like a man one bad decision away from a stroke, “You’ve been here less than half an hour, Lo. Half an hour. And you’re already bleeding.”
She dabbed her lip, smirk crooked despite the sting. “And?”
“And?!” Dom’s voice cracked. He threw a hand toward the mirror. “Look at you! Black eye, busted lip–Christ, Lola!”
Nico leaned against the counter, arms crossed tight. “You couldn’t just let it go? One bitch with a fake smile and you launch yourself across the desk like it’s the fucking octagon?”
Lola angled her head, studying the bruising with detached amusement. “To be fair, she called me a whore.”
“That doesn’t mean you-” Dom cut off with a groan, raking both hands through his hair. “God, Enzo’s gonna kill us.”
“Correction,” Nico muttered, pulling his phone out, “he’s gonna kill me if I don’t call him first.” He shot her a glare, thumb already hitting the screen. “Get over here.”
Lola swiped her lip once more, smirk spreading slow. “What, so he can see his girl looking like she won the undercard?”

“Don’t yes–boss me, gattina.” His stare pinned her to the screen. “I mean it.”
Enzo’s jaw flexed as his gaze shifted from Lola’s battered face to Dom and Nico on the screen. “You were supposed to be watching her. How the fuck does this happen?”

Dom looked personally offended. “You say that like it’s just us. There were six other guys standing right there too. She vaulted the desk, Enzo. What did you expect us to do–catch her mid–air?”
Nico dragged a hand down his face. “We tried. You try tackling a hurricane in crop top and joggers.”
“Hey!” Lola cut in, pointing at herself. “For the record, I’m pretty sure most of this-” she gestured at her split lip and swelling eye, “—is from the desk, not her. Damn marble thing nearly knocked me out when I landed.”
Dom muttered, “Yeah, you did more damage to yourself than she did.”
Enzo pinched the bridge of his nose. “Unbelievable.”
“C’mon,” Lola said, grin flashing despite the blood. “You know better than anyone–there’s no stopping me once I’ve decided something. They could’ve had ten men on me and I’d still have cleared that counter.”
Nico threw up his hands. “Finally, some honesty.”
Dom shook his head. “She’s a menace, Enzo. We just live in the fallout.”
Enzo’s scowl stayed carved in place, though his voice softened–just enough to betray the twist in his chest. “You scare the life out of me, Lola. And I don’t know whether to chain you to me or worship you for it.”
Lola smirked, green eyes dancing. “No promises.”
