Lexie really liked Phoebe and wanted to lighten the mood. So, she said to Phoebe, “Hey, aren’t you making straw hats? Why not teach me? I’ll give it a shot and see if I can do it.” 

Phoebe agreed and patiently taught Lexie how to weave a straw hat. Meanwhile, Maddox and James grabbed some chairs and watched them. 

The comments in the live broadcast room were intense at this moment. 

[Is Phoebe out of her mind? She not only went off on Marr but also on Reece. Who does she think she is?]

Lexie smiled and agreed, “You’re right. If you work hard, you’ll see results.” 

With no mobile phones to distract them, even though it was just past nine, they both decided to go wash up and get ready for bed. While the two were busy weaving straw hats, Maddox and James were gentlemanly and offered to get water for them to wash up. 

The live broadcast was going to be off at 8:30 pm and back on at 7:30 am the next day.

Now that the live broadcast was over, Reece had dropped the act. He looked at Phoebe and said, “Pheebs, I need to talk to you in private.” 

Phoebe gave him a look and replied, “I’ve already said what I needed to say, so there’s nothing to talk about.” 

Reece looked a bit troubled, “Does it have to be like this? You’ve got me all wrong. I just want t explain things clearly.” 

He wanted to make it clear that he and Sienna weren’t in the kind of relationship Phoebe thought they were in. He believed that if he explained it, Phoebe would stop making a fuss and take back her words about breaking up. 

Phoebe raised an eyebrow. “You and I are done, so there’s no need for explanations. I’m not interested.” With that, she kept walking. 

Reece didn’t expect Phoebe to refuse to talk to him alone. He couldn’t help but reach out to grab her arm, trying to make her stay. 

But Phoebe dodged his hand and said even more firmly, “Reece, some respect, please.” This time, she left with Lexie quickly. 

With Lexie by her side, Reece couldn’t force Phoebe to stay. He could only watch as Phoebe left without a second thought. He felt a mix of discomfort, heartache, and disbelief that he hadn’t felt before. 

Is Phoebe really serious about breaking up?‘ he wondered, looking at her retreating figure with a grim expression. The moonlight shining on him seemed to intensify the loneliness. At that moment, he suddenly felt a wave of panic.
