Chapter 54: Chapter 54 Injured man

“Follow you,” the man David Randolph chuckled before he answered, “You think too much. I am just passing by.”

His stone was flirtatious yet weak. She could even hear his heavy breathing.

Renea could only feel that the collar of this man’s shirt was wet. She could also smell the familiar scent of blood.

“You are injured?” Renea loosened her hand, and David collapsed on the ground immediately.

He attacked with all his might since he believed Renea was the one who had been hurting him earlier. Now, he was not able to exert any strength, and the wound on his chest caused him to let our heavy grow.

Renea took out her phone and showed the flashlight to him. The blinding light made him squint in discomfort.

Renea ignored him. She just found some gauze and alcohol to clean his wounds.

You had better go to the hospital right away.”

Looking at her serious look, the smile on David’s face broadened. He paid no mind about how serious his injury was at all.

After Renea bandaged his wound, she stood up and said coldly, “It’s done!”

Renea continued to ignore him as she carefully cleaned up the mess that she made when cleaning his wound.

Renea, however just replied in a cold tone, “I’m not interested.”

“You are really feisty. Since you don’t want to tell me your name, how about I call you Feisty?”

Renea simply stayed silent.

“If you don’t speak, I will take it as yes.”

“Feisty, what are you doing here? You seem to so familiar with this place. Is this your old home?”

“Here you go,” She handed over the wire a while later.

With a smile, David accepted the wire. He carefully twisted the iron wire after inserting it inside the lock. Soon, the lock was opened.

It was so effortless that it shocked Renea.

“Done,” David cocked his brow smugly.

But when Renea opened the safe, there was nothing inside.

Disappointment could be seen in her eyes.

David could not help but snort, “You spend so much effort just to open an empty safe.”

Renea rose to her feet and left. Her eyes had no expression at all. She was not the least bit disappointed with what she had not found.
