Chapter 131: Desperate Confrontation

Chapter 131: Desperate Confrontation

(Aria’s POV)

As soon as Claire Watson finished speaking, two menacing rogue wolves suddenly emerged from the dark corner of the abandoned warehouse. My heart hammered against my ribs as I recognized their dangerous

stances.

I looked at Alexander with panic written all over my face and shouted desperately, “Don’t worry about me! Run quickly!”

I knew that Alexander couldn’t possibly fight off these desperate criminals alone with just his bare hands.

If he could escape and call the territorial enforcers to save me, there might still be hope for both of us. But if

he got trapped here too, we would truly be doomed.

Alexander was stunned for a moment, his amber eyes burning with determination as he looked directly at

  1. me.

“I won’t abandon you and leave you alone!” he declared.

I felt my vision darken with despair–how could this Alpha be so foolishly stubborn at such a critical moment!

The two rogue wolves exchanged glances, their scarred faces twisted with anticipation. One of them suddenly kicked toward Alexander with brutal force.

Alexander instinctively dodged the attack and threw a heavy punch directly at the attacker’s jaw. The sound of impact echoed through the warehouse.

But the other rogue immediately kicked him in the ribs from behind. Alexander couldn’t help but curl up in pain, frowning as he dropped to one knee on the concrete floor.

The two rogues seized this opportunity. They rushed forward together, pinning Alexander to the ground with

their combined weight.

Within seconds, they had tied him up tightly with thick rope, his Alpha strength neutralized by their numbers.

“No!” I screamed helplessly.

Despair welled up in my heart as I watched Alexander being dragged roughly across the floor. His expensive suit was now stained with dirt from the ground, making him look utterly disheveled.

Claire burst into maniacal laughter that sent chills down my spine.

“Ha ha ha, what a perfect pair of lovesick fools!” she cackled with malice.

She suddenly grabbed Alexander’s collar with a ferocious expression, her emerald eyes blazing with hatred. “Alexander, who exactly are you putting on this devoted and repentant act for now?” she hissed. “When you abandoned Aria back then, you didn’t show any mercy!”

Her voice rose to a shriek filled with resentment.

“I hate myself for believing your pathetic lies back then! You absolutely disgust me!”

Alexander glared back at her with equal Intensity, his amber eyes flashing dangerously,

I find you even more disgusting than any rogue wolf!” he retorted.

Claire sneered coldly and suddenly released Alexander’s collar as if she had touched something

contaminated.

“If I had known you had fertility issues from the beginning, why would I have gone to such elaborate lengths to scheme so much?she spat.

Her voice dropped to a deadly who mother to death, just to make her sever your pathetic mate bond!.

“I even designed everything to anger

Arta’s blank,

Alexander’s expression went completely blank, as if he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. His face drained

of all color.

Claire shook her head with disgust and continued her revelation.

“Alexander, you’re such a pathetic fool! Still kept completely in the dark until this very moment!

She laughed bitterly.

“How could I possibly fall for a weak, defective Alpha like you! Only naive Aria would treat you like some precious treasure, even willing to take fertility enhancing herbs just to increase her chances of getting

pregnant!”

Alexander turned to look at me with dawning comprehension, his amber eyes suddenly filled with crushing guilt and heartache.

“Aria…” he whispered brokenly.

I pressed my lips together tightly and turned my face away, refusing to meet his tortured gaze. My wolf whimpered with old pain.

If this revelation had happened months ago, I would have been desperate for Alexander to learn the truth and

repent to me.

But now–I no longer cared about his guilt or remorse!

Watching them fight like rabid wolves should have brought me satisfaction. But I knew that even if Alexander won this verbal battle, it would probably only make Claire kill me faster.

Claire’s emerald eyes blazed with complete madness and ferocity as she prepared to deliver her final blow. “What? Are you feeling heartbroken now, Alexander?” she mocked. “Then let me tell you something even more exciting to make you die with perfect understanding!”

Her voice rose to a crescendo of triumph.

“Do you know whose bastard pup is actually growing in Aria’s belly right now?”

Alexander suddenly jerked his head back toward Claire, glaring at her with such vicious intensity that he looked ready to pounce and tear her throat out.

“Your precious father Richard Reed originally arranged for two skilled rogues to assault and r**e your dear Aria at that territorial gathering,” Claire revealed with cruelty.

“But those idiots were stood up at the last moment, and someone else got to her first! That pup she’s

“Aria, run! Run now and don’t look back!” he shouted over the mechanical noise.

I turned and ran toward the warehouse exit as fast as my bound legs could carry me. My heart pounded so hard I thought it might burst.

Just as I was about to reach the doorway and escape this nightmare, Claire suddenly appeared and caught up with me.

“Where do you think you’re going, you little b***h?
