"It's all arranged. Should I send it over now?" Maxwell's voice came through the phone.

"Yes." I ended the call, satisfaction settling in my chest.

I had arranged everything Evelyn Winters needed - clothing, food, accommodation, and transportation. The finest moonlight herbs money could buy, imported from the sacred groves of the Eastern Territories.

This was my chance to compensate for past mistakes. To fulfill the promise I made to "Orange Mom" when I was ten years old - to take good care of her.

Victoria Frost watched Ethan's Black Alpha Vehicle disappear down the road. Her wolf paced anxiously beneath her skin as she made her decision.

She couldn't wait any longer. She needed to confirm if Connor Blackthorn had given the evidence to Ethan.

If he had, she would devise a plan to prevent it from falling into Ethan's hands. The thought of spending the rest of her life in prison made her stomach churn with terror.

She remembered her experience in the detention center - the cold concrete, the stench of fear and desperation. She couldn't endure it again.

Once Ethan obtained evidence of her hiring someone to kill James Knight, he would ensure she remained imprisoned for life. Her wolf whimpered at the thought.

The taxi driver quickly assisted her with the wheelchair when she finally emerged from the vehicle. Victoria settled into the seat, her mind racing with desperate plans.
