The girls came and got us and walked us to the park. As we arrived I noticed kids were still looking for seats and there were a few adults even present. "I said, who is going to start this off." Everyone said at the same time, Cat. I walked over in front of the stand and one of the girls said, You have all seen the video where Alex got knocked down to the ground by a girl. Well, they have agreed to show that we girls and women that we do not have to continue to be harassed by boys.

They agreed to show us some moves and give a self-defense demonstration. she said, this is Cat, the girl that knocked Alex down is Tamakia, pointing to her, and this is Donna, Candy, and Elizabeth. I discussed how they can learn to fight by either learning how to box or getting self-defense lessons. I said there are schools on this or you could find someone in your community that is trained and see if they would be willing to train you. This is not a game and is to be only used to defend yourself if you feel threatened.

I then said we will show you some moves and then if you would like you can come down and practice them. I would also encourage those of you here today to continue to practice with each other.

The girls were invited to come down and practice. We were surprised that all of them came down and they all listened well. These girls were asking the appropriate questions. They asked can you guys give us a demonstration. Everyone yelled Jordan and Cat will give a live demonstration. I said, thanks a lot, you guys. How are you all getting out of this? We also assured them that there are many types of self-defense classes they can take. They thanked us and we got into our cars and drove on to the cabin.

We arrived at the cabin after a bit of a bumpy ride. As we all got out of the car's and stretched our legs we started carrying all the suitcases to our rooms. It made it easier as we came down three days earlier bringing the food, snacks, drinks, and videos. However, we have a lot more to take back with us. That is why Kevin will be driving up later in the week with an empty SUV. As we got everything to our rooms and put away we decided to grill out and have hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue chicken, potato salad, chips, dip, and salad.

I was sitting on a lounge chair when Jordan sat down behind me pulling me back against him. Jarrod asked everyone what their plans were when we graduate from school. He said he planned on going to the university in town and taking business. Jordan said he planned on that as well and maybe they will have the same classes.

Candy said she is going to be a nurse, Elizabeth a surgeon, and Donna a doctor. Aiden said I am going to be a heart doctor. Randy and Steve are going to be lawyers, and Carl and Tamika teachers. What do you want to do Cat they asked? I said a paramedic that fly in the chopper for hospitals. I said we should start looking for a house we can rent or buy a house to share since we all are going to the university.
