Josh met Pueblo as he came into the door. He lifted his nose sniffing the air. He said I smell a she-wolf, a very strong she-wolf. I said, yes it is Alpha Jordan's mate. My wolf growled, he said, that is our mate. Josh said I thought you might like her. The others are not wolfs, so tell me, do they have mates as well?

I swallowed and said, yes, friends of Alpha Jordan's. He grabbed me by my throat and said are you plain stupid? Were you setting me up to get me killed? I should save them the trouble of killing you and doing it myself. Where are they? He threw me at one of my guards and said hold this idiot. I walked to the back and saw the woman in the cages.

I saw the she-wolf had been beaten and the other girls taking care of her. I said I am going to let you out. I am here to help you. I unlocked the cage and walked in picking the she-wolf up to carry her out. She screamed in pain. I thought thank god I am part of Elijah's crew. Because Alpha Jordan is going to slowly kill that jackass, Josh.

I watched as he looked her over and he said, you need to wash her then I need to wrap her ribs. She has four broken ribs. Other than that she will heal in four days. I thanked him and told him to have something to eat and drink while I give Cat a bath. I ran a tub full of water then went to undress her and placed her in the tub. I washed all the dirt off of her let the water out got her out dried her off and put sweatpants and a tee shirt on her.

Athena raised her head and said, mate, he is our second chance mate. If something happens to Jordan or Jordan rejects us we go to him. If we are ever in trouble we call him. I said well shit. That is all I need another mate. I slowly got up and decided to sit outside in the rocking chair. Mom helped me out to sit in the chair putting a pillow behind my back and a throw over my legs.

She then went back in to bring me out another cup of coffee. I sat thinking and drinking my coffee not realizing I was being watched. I must have dozed off but thought I felt a finger slowly move down my check, and a voice says mate. One day you will be my mate. I slowly opened my eyes and no one was there. I must have been dreaming it.

I saw three cars pull up to the cabin and Jordan got out walking over to me. He asked if I needed anything? I said, not right now. He said he was going to shower. Jarrod stopped sitting down in the chair beside me. He said I have some news for you, sis. I said, ya, what is it. He said I am going to be a father. I smiled and said, I am so happy for you. How is Candy doing? She is doing great. excited about becoming a mother.
