Cat heard Jordan's phone ring. She watched him not changing her breathing. He had learned to cover her own sent and keep her breathing matching another's heartbeat. She watched Jordan look at the caller ID and Cat noticed his face light up with a smile. He slowly looked over his shoulder sat on the side of the bed and answered the phone.

He said, hello as he got up and walked into the bathroom shutting the door. Cat covered her sent got out of bed and walked to the door putting her ear near the door. She didn't trust Jordan the way he smiled when he noticed who was calling. She had her cell phone on voice record so she could record his side of the phone call.

She heard, Megan I am sorry I haven't called you. I have been trying to make this work with my mate. I then heard him say, Megan your where? You have rented a cabin about two miles from Alpha Jeffery's? Yes, I will be there give me 15 minutes. I will tell her I am just going for a run. Megan, you don't know how much I have missed you.
