At the same time.
Dragon Tiger Mountain.
The morning sun was rising, the clouds and mist were swirling, and the scene was majestic.
At this moment.
In a room of the Back Mountain Taoist Temple.
The wounds of Lily Tisdale, Bardon Bard, Prajna Bates, and Pill Levin had almost healed.
Although the four were still wrapped in gauze, they could move their bodies now.
At this point.
The four stood by the bedside, looking at Lionel Yeager, who was still in a coma on the bed.
"What’s going on, didn’t the Old Heavenly Master say Brother Yeager’s injuries were almost healed? Why hasn’t he woken up yet?" Bardon Bard said with a frown.
Prajna Bates was also very worried and distressed.
She stared at Lionel intently and said with a sobbing tone, "Mr. Yeager, please wake up, we are all so worried about you!"
Lily Tisdale and Pill Levin were also staring at Lionel, their eyes full of concern.
However, at this moment.
"Senior Sister!!!"
Suddenly, Lionel Yeager let out a terrified shout from the bed and then abruptly opened his eyes.
As soon as Lionel had woken up and before he could react, he saw four mummies standing by his bed, staring straight at him.
"What the hell?!"
Lionel was startled.
Bardon Bard said annoyedly, "Brother Yeager, what the hell, you don’t even recognize your own Buddha anymore? Holy shit, Brother Yeager, you haven’t lost your memory, have you?"
Lionel then recognized the four and heaved a sigh, "Bardon, Lily, Prajna, Brother Levin, it’s you guys!
But how did you get wrapped up like mummies?"
Pill Levin said with amusement, "Don’t talk about us, aren’t you the same?"
Lionel looked at himself and suddenly felt helpless.
Great, he had been wrapped up like a mummy too.
As he raised his eyes to look at the four again.
He saw that their eyes were red and tears could not be stopped from flowing down.
"You guys... why are you crying?"
Lionel asked, bewildered.
"You finally woke up, goddammit!" Bardon Bard punched Lionel in the chest and choked up.
"Ouch..."
Lionel gasped in pain, "Can’t you be a bit gentler, dammit!"
"Wuuwuuwuu..."
Prajna Bates laid herself on Lionel’s body and cried heartbreakingly.
Lily, with a plastered hand, wiped away her tears, "It’s good you’re awake, it’s good."
Pill Levin turned his head, not wanting Lionel to see him cry.
Lionel let out a long sigh, raised his plastered hand, and gently stroked Prajna’s head, saying softly, "Prajna, don’t cry, I’m awake now, aren’t I?
Brothers, I’m sorry, I made you worry."
Lily, Bardon, and Pill Levin couldn’t hold back any longer and started to cry loudly.
Ever since they woke up, they had been constantly worried about Lionel.
They really feared that Lionel would never wake up again.
Now, Lionel had finally awakened, giving them their pillar of support once more.
Lionel’s eyes filled with tears as well.
He knew how much his friends were worried about him.
He struggled to hold back his tears and tried to sit up, but he couldn’t even manage that.
He called out to Bardon, "Stop crying, you big baby, hurry up and help me up!"
Bardon joked, "Brother Yeager, who would have thought there’d be a day I would be helping you up, such a rare occasion!"
Saying this, Bardon helped Lionel sit up, leaning against the bed.
"Phew..."
Lionel let out a long breath and asked, "How long have I been unconscious?"
Prajna Bates replied, "Mr. Yeager, you’ve been unconscious for half a month."
"What?! Half a month?!"
Lionel exclaimed in surprise, "I’ve been unconscious for so long?!"
Bardon smirked, "Being unconscious for so long isn’t a big deal, the fact that you’re not dead is proof that you’re tough!"
"Mr. Yeager, I’ll go call the Old Heavenly Master and Master Logan Trevino!
Both seniors have spent a lot of effort to save you!"
As Prajna Bates spoke, she rushed out of the room and shouted toward a distant library, "Old Heavenly Master! Master Logan Trevino! Mr. Yeager is awake! He’s awake!"
Before the voice had fallen!
Two streaks of light burst out from the attic and quickly landed at the entrance of the room!
It was Derick Winslet and Master Logan Trevino!
