Julia Stewart said, "Of course, that’s fine. But, I’d like to know what she can do so I can arrange a job for her..."
Prajna Bates smiled sweetly and said, "Big sister, I graduated from East City University, majored in business administration, and I’m fluent in eight languages."
"What?!"
Julia was surprised, "You graduated from the prestigious East City University and are fluent in eight languages?!"
"Yes."
Prajna nodded and then praised Julia in eight different languages continuously.
This series of compliments made Julia feel a little embarrassed.
Although she couldn’t understand some of the languages, she could understand some of them.
So, she believed that Prajna was really fluent in eight languages.
Julia asked curiously, "Prajna, with your prestigious university background and fluency in eight languages, it shouldn’t be hard for you to find a job. Why did you want Lionel to introduce a job for you?"
Lionel helped her answer, "Julia, you saw it too. Prajna is so beautiful and adorable. I’m worried that she would be bullied if she worked for another company.
So, I thought it would be better for her to work in our company so we can take care of her."
When he said this, he felt somewhat embarrassed.
Although Prajna looked harmless and soft, she showed no mercy when it came to killing.
Julia obviously believed what Lionel said and nodded, "It’s true that I wouldn’t feel at ease if Prajna went to work in another company."
After a pause, Julia asked, "Prajna, what job do you want to do?"
Without even thinking, Prajna replied directly, "Sister, I want to be your assistant."
"Ah?! An assistant?!"
Julia was taken aback, frowning, "Wouldn’t that be a bit of a waste of your talent?"
"No, of course not!"
Prajna shook her head quickly, "I’m happy to be the beautiful Sister’s assistant and help relieve her stress!"
Hearing Prajna’s words, Julia affectionately held her hand and said, "You’re such a good girl, unlike someone who can’t stay in the company for a moment and only knows how to run outside."
Lionel immediately protested, "Julia, you can praise her, but why drag me in and degrade me?!"
Julia glared at him, "I’m just stating the facts, are you not convinced?"
Lionel shook his head helplessly, "I’m convinced, I dare not defy you!"
Seeing Lionel’s defeated appearance, Prajna couldn’t help but smile.
She didn’t expect Lionel to have this side of him as well.
Considering his cold and ruthless behavior not long ago, she still shivered at the thought.
However, it was precisely because of this that she truly understood the importance of Julia in Lionel’s heart.
Julia asked, "By the way, Prajna, where is your luggage?"
"Uh..."
Prajna gave an awkward smile and said, "I forgot to bring it."
Julia couldn’t help but laugh, "Alright then, you can wear my clothes for these two days, and I’ll take you shopping when I have time."
Prajna quickly thanked her, "Thank you, Sister Stewart!"
"Silly girl, no need to thank me."
Julia smiled and then dragged Prajna to her room, "Come on, I’ll show you the room."
"Okay."
Prajna nodded and followed Julia upstairs.
It wasn’t until the two of them entered the room that Lionel looked away.
Seeing that the two women got along so well, Lionel was relieved.
