“President Stewart, are you alright?”

Sunny Tolkien exclaimed, startled.

Lionel Yeager quickly stepped forward to support Julia Stewart.

Julia Stewart steadied herself against the desk, took a deep breath and said, “Sunny, no need for individual reportings, just tell me outright how many companies have ended their partnerships with us.”

Sunny gritted her teeth and answered truthfully, “President Stewart, to date, eighteen companies have terminated their partnership with us, and the number is still climbing.”

“How did this happen?”

Julia massaged her temples, speaking up, “Why did all these companies suddenly choose to sever their partnerships with us, when there were no signs of it yesterday?”

Sunny explained, “From what I have heard, Prosperity Pharmaceutical exerted intense pressure.

If any companies continue to work with East Beauty Pharmaceuticals, Prosperity Pharmaceutical would dissolve their partnership.”

“As it stands, Prosperity Pharmaceutical has completely taken over the market in River City.

Their product sales are booming each day.”

“They want to cash in along with Prosperity Pharmaceutical and think that there is no future in their partnership with us.

That’s why they ended their cooperation.”

“So Prosperity Pharmaceutical has started to suppress us from all dimensions.”

Julia breathed out heavily, asking, “Is there any room for redemption?”

Sunny sighed, “It seems highly unlikely to salvage the situation.

Those companies have set their mind on aligning with Prosperity Pharmaceutical.”

“Why should we try to salvage the situation?”

Lionel, who had been quiet all this while, spoke up.

Sunny responded, “Assistant Yeager, you may not know this.

But, if all companies sever their partnerships with us, it will be highly unfavorable to our company.”

Julia added, “Sunny is right.

If no company is there to distribute our products, our company’s losses will even be larger.”

“If this persists, our company will either have to choose to be acquired by Prosperity Pharmaceutical, or decide to declare bankruptcy.”

Lionel said, “President Stewart, Assistant Tolkien, trust me, these difficulties are temporary.”

“When the day of our new product launch arrives, those fellows will learn how foolish their choices were.”

“I am sure that our new product will sell like hotcakes.”

“By then, they will be begging us for cooperation.”

“Assistant Yeager, you have so much confidence in our new product?”

Sunny asked curiously.

“Of course.”

Lionel nodded affirmatively, “I have complete confidence in my secret formula.”

Julia frowned, “However, our new product launch is still at least half a month away.”

“I am unsure if our company can withstand for half a month.”

“Even if we survive until the product launch, we cannot guarantee that our new product will be able to compete against Prosperity Pharmaceutical’s product, and retake the market.”

Lionel laughed, “President Stewart, have faith in me, and in yourself.”

“As long as we overcome this half month, you will witness a whole new future for East Beauty Pharmaceuticals.”

“I hope so.”

Julia sighed.

He checked it and saw it was a call from Julie Stewart, therefore he answered the call.

“Mullen, are you busy at the moment?”

If you’re not busy, could you come over and help treat me.”

Lionel responded, “No problem.

Send me your address and I’ll be on my way.”

After hanging up the phone, Julie sent her address to Lionel’s phone.
