Tears couldn’t help but spill from Prajna’s eyes.
She choked and nodded, "Thank you, Mr. Yeager, Brother Tanner and Brother Bardon Bard."
Lionel Yeager touched the girl’s head gently, smiled and said, "Alright, no more crying.
Our Prajna is so cute and pretty, it won’t be good if her face is ruined by tears."
"Pfft..."
Hearing this, Prajna turned her tears into laughter, her eyes filled with gratitude and emotion.
She thought that she would never be able to take revenge in her life, but now, she’s not far from it.
She looked at Lionel Yeager tenderly, making a decision in her heart.
Lionel Yeager continued, "Also, when we get to Kyoto later, we’ll first meet Emma Cobb’s grandfather."
"Huh?"
Bardon Bard looked puzzled, "Why do we have to see Miss Cobb’s grandfather?"
Lionel shrugged and said, "Emma said her grandfather wanted to meet me and thank me in person.
I didn’t plan to go, but she insisted.
Since there’s still some time before our rendezvous tonight at 8 o’clock, I agreed."
Bardon Bard nodded, "Alright, let’s go meet him."
After finishing their breakfast,
Lionel and the other three left the hotel and arrived at Tain City Train Station.
Before long, the four boarded a high-speed rail, heading straight for Kyoto.
As Tain City was not far from Kyoto,
the train only took about two hours, and they arrived at Kyoto Train Station.
When Lionel and the others came out of the station, they saw a black Range Rover extended SUV parked at the entrance.
Emma Cobb was standing by the car, waiting for them.
The woman had a ponytail, wore a white chiffon shirt with light blue skinny jeans, and white sneakers on her feet, looking both fashionable and beautiful.
Seeing Lionel and the others come out, Emma Cobb hurried over with a smile, "You guys are finally here!"
"Hello, Miss Cobb!"
"Hello, big sister Cobb!"
Bardon Bard, Lily Tisdale, and Prajna greeted her.
"It’s been a long time since we last saw each other, I’ve missed you guys so much!"
Emma Cobb graciously hugged Bardon Bard and the others.
Bardon Bard joked, "Miss Cobb, I think the person you missed the most should be Brother Yeager, right?"
Emma Cobb rolled her eyes at Lionel and said, "I do miss him very much, but he obviously doesn’t miss me at all!"
Bardon Bard raised his eyebrows at Lionel, "Brother Yeager, don’t you really miss Miss Cobb?
I think you’re just pretending not to care!"
Smack!
"Shut up!"
Lionel slapped Bardon Bard’s bald head and then said to Emma Cobb, "Miss Cobb, didn’t you want to take me to see your grandfather? Let’s get going!"
Emma Cobb huffed and said, "Can’t you be more approachable and call me Ivana?"
"No."
Lionel shook his head and got into the car.
"Jerk!"
Emma Cobb stomped her foot in anger.
After getting in the car, Emma Cobb started the engine and drove away from the train station.
On the road, Bardon Bard, Lily Tisdale, and Prajna chatted happily with Emma Cobb.
Lionel gazed out the window, not joining in their conversation.
They were about to leave for Sakura Country, and this time, not only did they have to destroy the main tower of the Eight Huge Tower but also take revenge for Prajna.
Accomplishing these two tasks would not be easy; there was bound to be danger.
Before heading to Sakura Country, he had to perfect his plan.
Whether it was to destroy the Eight Huge Tower or enact revenge for Prajna, he hoped that whoever went would be able to return alive.
As they chatted along the way, they reached the gate of a manor an hour later.
The manor was vast, situated beside a mountain with beautiful scenery, and two stone lions stood at the entrance, appearing very imposing.
After getting out of the car,
Emma Cobb led Lionel and the others into the manor and walked all the way to the backyard.
In the pavilion, a dignified old man wearing a traditional suit was drinking tea.
