Becoming A Tech Tycoon Begins With Regression novel Chapter 136

Chapter 136: Vitaband

"Guess it works as intended," Ethan muttered as he looked at the diagnosis on the watch’s screen.

He hadn’t slept for days, mostly because he was spending time in the lab to figure out the liquid metal without buying that knowledge from the system shop.

Why?

Well, two reasons.

One, it felt like a waste of his tier 4 knowledge and system points to rely on the system for something he could figure out himself.

And two, was the system rewards.

Ethan had figured out that the system rewarded him more when he did things without its help.

His theory was correct when the system upgraded his knowledge in material science to tier 4 and rewarded him five thousand system points.

It had classified the adaptive liquid metal as a tier 4 tech which was two tiers above what his present timeline was capable of.

So indeed, he should get some sleep, but a third of his minds were currently handling that so he didn’t need to.

Though his body might not completely accept his decision to only rest the mind.

Liam and Lizzy sighed in relief after his words. They were a bit nervous while coming here and they’d have considered the product a fail if the one who helped them figure out if the one who helped them figure out the impossible part—the adaptive morphing alloy—said a single word of disapproval.

"Great," Liam said before asking, "then should we start mass production?"

Ethan didn’t reply, instead, he turned to Lillian, sitting opposite him.

"Hmm.... Yes," she after thinking for a short while, "but public release will be delayed for a while."

"Why?" Lizzy asked. She was pretty excited for the world to receive this gift so why would they delay it?

"Licensing," Lillian simply replied before explaining, "we’ll need to secure international medical certifications, FDA approval, health department clearance — and that’s just the start. The moment this thing hits the public radar, we’ll be dealing with a lot of hungry mouths."

Lizzy frowned slightly. "That’ll take months."

"Months we need," Lillian replied. "We’ve come this far, we can’t risk the government seizing the product with any excuse... We’ll have to cover all bases, successfully launch the product and wait for chaos to descend."

The last part she said with a small smile. It seemed like the last few months she had spent with Ethan had caused him to rub off on her and she had picked a trait or two from him.

Because that smile screamed that she wanted whatever chaos from the release of the product.

Liam asked in confusion, "Chaos?"

Ethan was the one to respond as he turned the device over in his hands, "Think about it. A device that can analyze your DNA, predict illnesses before they form, and track every biological function you have, that sounds like some pretty expensive data, one that everybody and their mother will want a hand in."

Liam let out a low whistle. "...That sounds like a nightmare."

"It would be," Lillian said, nodding in agreement. "Which is why we’ll stagger the release. Start with medical institutions, hospitals, and research centers under controlled partnerships. Others will get access later — through us, and only us."
