Becoming A Tech Tycoon Begins With Regression novel Chapter 145

Chapter 145: The Library

Ethan calmly went over the new system mission, it was pretty simple, create a shield around Earth that was capable of stopping any from of external intrusion.

In other words, a planetary defensive system.

Now, would the various world governments allow him to? Probably not.

Especially if he refused to be in any of their controls, hence the reason why the system suggested world dominance.

Was it going to be easy?

Absolutely not, but he was Ethan Carter. He already had a plan prepared, one that had been underway since before OmniMed was announced.

Now the Vitaband didn’t seem like much, but it was a way to slowly ease into his plan.

Like Sentinel, the Vitaband was a form of data collection. They collected really importantly information that he’d upload to the simulation chamber.

Now, what was his final plan after all that? You’d just have to wait and find out, but for now, Ethan had something else to check out.

"System," he called out, "open the library."

[Right away,] the system responded.

[You have entered the OmniTech System Library.]

The scenery around him suddenly started changing, one moment he was sitting on his couch, the next, he was pulled into the void.

He traveled for a short while

Ethan turned slowly, his minds taking in every single detail. "So this is the library," he murmured. "Doesn’t look like any one I’ve seen before."

[This library is not just for storage of information, but of concepts,] the System clarified. [Every discovery, invention, or fragment of knowledge you acquire can be reconstructed here, in its purest logical form. You can explore, disassemble, or simulate their evolution without limitations.]

"In other words," he muttered as he looked around, stream of data arranging themselves like rows of shelves, "a room for replicating tech?"

[Not quite,] the system responded, [the tech development interface is responsible for tech replication, but the library can replicate anything I consider as information.]

"I see," Ethan nodded in understanding, while walking around the space.

"So this is where everything I’ve learned is stored," he murmured, watching as a floating construct split open into like a book, revealing every random thought he had ever since he split his mind. "How...efficient."

[Efficient, but also infinite,] the System corrected. [The OmniTech Library is a dimensional construct. It expands proportionally to the user’s intellect and discoveries. The more you understand, the more it grows.]

Ethan raised a brow. "So, in short... a digital reflection of my mind?"

[In essence, yes. Every fragment of data you input and every observation you make, is recorded here. Even your thoughts, when unfocused is stored here.]

That made him pause. "So I could technically... develop theories just by thinking about them?"

[Correct. The Library will automatically translate them into structured data for analysis.]

A faint smirk tugged at his lips. "That’s convenient."

He stretched a hand toward one of the floating orbs, and immediately, the orb turned into a holographic projection of Sentinel... More specifically, its code.

He had switched from Python to Prometheus, since he had more than enough SP.

The coding language looked unlike any on earth but Ethan could perfectly understand it since the knowledge was uploaded into his brain.

The new code made Sentinel run a lot faster and although there was no public compiler, it could easily run on any system.

If his opponents were having trouble copying a simple python code, then they would be having a nightmare trying to even comprehend this one.

And that included the Vigilants right now, since they were eager to hack into it to get that reward Ethan had promised on success.

There was a small smile on his face as he thought about it, but soon shook his head, this wasn’t the time to be thinking about how much harder he had made the challenge for his underlings.

Now was the time to find out exactly what this library does. As always, information on every new System feature could always be directly uploaded into his mind whenever he wanted and among that info was a pretty cool feature about the lab.

The holographic section....

Well, maybe not so cool when compared to the simulation chair Ethan had made but still pretty cool.

He walked deeper into the library, walking past certain thoughts that he’d definitely delete later since they were either important or concepts he didn’t want to talk about.

He paused when he reached a large circular platform suspended in the middle of the endless data field.

Dozens of glowing lines were spiraling above it, forming a slowly rotating sphere of pure light, kind of like a mini sun but made of data.

[Holographic Section activated.]

He smiled faintly. "Let’s start by running a projection."

[Specify target.]
