Thinking about it, Stephanie turned on the car radio, wanting to listen to some music and clear her mind.

Stephanie looked at the date.

Today was the 28th day of the divorce cooling–off period.

Stephanie calmed herself down. She told herself not to overthink and to go pick up Belinda from kindergarten first, or else she’d be late.

And Jeremiah also needed some time to deal with some things.

Thinking about it. Stephanie calmed down and drove over to Belinda’s place.

“Auntie Stephanie, are you free to pick me up this afternoon?” Belinda suddenly asked before she walked into the kindergarten.

Actually, most of the time it was Stephanie who picked up Belinda. If she was busy, she would ask someone Belinda knew to pick her up. like the McKayla siblings, the Milton brothers, Jeremiah, and so on.

Normally, Belinda didn’t ask, but today she did, so that meant Belinda wanted her to come over.

Thinking about it, Stephanie touched Belinda’s little round face.

Stephanie squatted down, looked at Belinda, and said. “I’ll try to come. If I can’t make it, I’ll go see you tonight. I’ll definitely see you, okay?”

Belinda smiled, her eyes curved, nodded hard, then went into the kindergarten.

She had just taken a couple of steps when she seemed to remember something, ran back, and gave Stephanie a kiss on the cheek.

Only then did he run to school with a smile.

Stephanie touched her face, and there was a smile in her eyes too.

Belinda and her relationship got better and better.

This made Stephanie feel warm inside.

After watching Belinda walk into the classroom, Stephanie drove to Conway Entertainment.

At 8:30, Stephanie’s car stopped downstairs at Conway Entertainment. She put on a disguise, then went upstairs.

Ever since the thing about her and Jeremiah being secretly photographed came out, she had been more careful.

All the way to the most hidden meeting room, Stephanie walked in and finally took off her mask.

“I’ll probably get there around 9.” Jeremiah’s voice message came through.

Stephanie nodded and took a notebook from the side to start drawing

Time flew by. After a while, the meeting room door was pushed open. Stephanie looked up and saw it was Jeremiah.

Jeremiah’s expression was really complicated. He closed the door and then sat down across from Stephanie.

“What happened?” Stephanie looked into Jeremiah’s eyes and asked. “Your expression was weird.”

Jeremiah’s fingers tapped lightly on the solid wood table, like he was trying to think about what to say.

This really shocked Stephanie.

After all, Jeremiah had always been a hot–tempered guy, so what exactly made Jeremiah so hesitant to speak?

Thinking this, Stephanie asked.

“I can think too, okay!” Jeremiah was speechless when this was brought up. Last night, the old man said he had no brains.
