"You're right."
On the other end of the call, Ryan looked happy and had a captivating smile on his face.
He knew for sure that Rodney had been kicked out of Freya's world entirely from that day onward.
So what if Rodney was the child's father?
After the call had ended, Ryan held a glass of red wine and looked at the moon outside the window. The moonlight reflected the gleam in his eyes. "Don't blame me, Rodney. You're the one who dug your own grave."
He knew that Rodney would come over that day, so he especially told Aunty Loretta to keep an eye out.
Sure enough, Rodney's actions were more surprising each time.
In fact, Ryan did not have to tell Freya those things.
However, telling her would make her more disgusted with Rodney.
As such, Freya would never give Rodney any more chances, even if it were for the sake of the child.
What Ryan needed to do was sever Freya and Rodney's relationship completely. So what if Rodney
regretted it? It would be useless no matter how regretful he was.
The same night.
At the Hill family’s manor, Catherine was leaning against the balcony lazily with a phone in her hand." Matthew, you can arrange for your friend’s return. The prey is almost ready."
"Sis, isn't it just a woman? I can make her disappear with just a flick of my finger," Matthew's tone was filled with disdain. 2
Shaun hugged Catherine tightly. "Cathy, I used to be s o dumb and made a lot of mistakes. I shouldn’t have been soft-hearted toward Sarah when I was with you. Aside from their wives, men should always keep a distance from the opposite sex after marriage. If not, Sarah wouldn't have had a chance to take advantage o f."
"You should be grateful that you didn't have sex with Sarah or married her during the years I was gone. Or else, I wouldn't have given you any chances."
Catherine pinched Shaun on the waist angrily. "I'm warning you. Don't inform Rodney of my plan.”
"I won't say anything if you say so. I'm not that stupid. You and the children are the most important to me." Shaun hugged her, and his gaze darkened. "Besides, Sarah had hurt you and the children so cruelly back then. It’s normal to get revenge on her now."
"Mm. It's not just for me. There's also Freya and Charity. I will not let this go so easily."
A cold gleam shone in Catherine's eyes. "Since Rodney has decided to protect Sarah, I'll have no choice but to remove him, an obstacle."
A week later.
