"It's fine as long as they're happy in their relationship. Besides, your best friend is such a smart person. Since she’s willing to let go of the past, it means she truly loves Shaun."
"You're right...”
Freya was aware that her situation was different from Catherine’s. She only got together with Rodney because of her pregnancy, while Shaun and Catherine had children out of love. Shaun had also never betrayed Catherine when it came to intimacy matters from the beginning till the end...”
By the way, we're going on a cruise ship to
celebrate later. Do you... want to go with m e? Do you have time?"
Ryan chuckled. "This is the first time you're inviting me to meet your friends. I have to go."
"Aren't you very busy?"
"I knew that you guys would surely have a celebration today. To prevent you from getting drunk, I finished my work beforehand," Ryan said gently, "I’ve been waiting for you all day."
"It seems like you're quite tactful." Freya found it sweet. Ryan was always very attentive. "Come over quickly, then."
When they arrived at the cruise ship, Eliza and Chester got on first.
Both of them even changed their clothes.
Eliza changed into an oversized white T-shirt and floral chiffon pants. She tied her hair into a bun. She had a tall figure and fair skin. Even if her clothes were simple and casual, her aura as a celebrity could not be concealed.
Freya blinked her eyes. "I finally understand why the internet is filled with people imitating your fashion whenever you wear an outfit. Tsk tsk, even I have the urge to get a set of that same outfit when I see you wearing it."
"I feel more comfortable in pants," Eliza explained with a faint smile. "There are clothes prepared in the dressing room.
They’re all of the latest designs.”
Not long after, Shaun got on the cruise ship with his hands around Catherine. Both of them had sweet expressions on their faces, especially Shaun. He was beaming with happiness. "Come here. I'll let you guys see Cathy's and my marriage certificate. We took the photo just now. Does it look good?'
Catherine found it funny and elbowed him. "Knock it off."
"That's right,” Freya said on purpose, “You make it seem like I’ve never seen a marriage certificate before. I even have proof of divorce, okay?"
Shaun's expression stiffened. Catherine could not help but burst out laughing." What a coincidence. I have proof of divorce too."
"Cathy..." Shaun's handsome face was bitter.
"Alright, let's stop with the jokes. I wish you two a happy marriage." Eliza raised her glass. "Treasure your wife well. She’s willing to give you a chance, but that doesn't mean she’ll give you a third chance in the future."
"I'll definitely treasure her." Shaun hugged Catherine tightly. "I’ll love her for the rest o f my life."
