"It's not because you dislike it. You just dislike me touching you.” Chester's hand that was moving on Eliza's waist slowly turned cold, and his mouth was close to her lips. Though gentle, his comment was snarky. "Haven’t you learned your lesson through the incident this afternoon?"
Eliza's body stiffened, and she bit her lip. It felt as though she had been struggling internally for a century. Her body relaxed, and her tone softened a lot. "No. I sweated a lot when I acted today. Also, I had a hotpot, so my body is sticky and uncomfortable. Can you let me take a bath first? I won’t run away anyway. Why are you in such a hurry?”
It was rare for her to explain herself. In the past, she would be visibly indifferent and resistant.
Chester noticed the change in her.
Unusually curious, he stood straight and observed her with a dark gaze. "Really?”
“Yes.” Eliza nodded. However, she looked down, revealing a large part of the back of her fair neck.
"Go ahead.”
Chester stared at her for a few seconds before he added, "When you take a bath, don’t close the door. I’ll enter later.”
"...Okay.”
Eliza got down from the bar. She hurriedly took her purse and headed upstairs.
In the changing room, she opened the small bottle and took a pill. After that, she swallowed it.
Less than ten minutes after she entered the bathroom, the door was suddenly pulled open. She had just finished washing her long, black hair.
Chester leaned against the doorframe, his eyes casually settling on Eliza. Under the shower, the woman's long, black hair stuck to her pretty face with the warm water flowing across her clear lips.
The visual scene pierced through his pupils.
Chester slowly took off his elegant glasses and entered the bathroom straight away.
"Why are you so quiet all of a sudden?" At that moment, Chester was in quite a good mood.
He had been too tense in the last two days, so he was not really in a good mood.
He managed to vent all his feelings tonight.
In particular, he seemed to have finally achieved something with the woman who used to be like a dead fish. As a man, he felt a sense of achievement.
"I have no idea why I'm behaving this way, Eliza suddenly said.
Chester laughed while caressing her face. Some harsh words came out of his nice, thin lips. "Why are you pretending? It's not as if you never did it with Monte before.’
Eliza was at a loss for words.
