Best Revenge: Being My Ex-Boyfriend’s Aunt novel Chapter 2877

Only after three days was Charity discharged from the hospital.

She specially hired a maternity matron and a caregiver to look after her.

Catherine was the one who introduced Aunty Lorrie to Charity. Apparently, Aunty Lorrie was the best maternity matron in Canberra, in terms of quality and professionalism in caring for children.

After Charity was discharged, Aunty Lorrie proved what she was made of through her ability.

In particular, Aunty Lorrie looked after the newborn babies with great care.

As for the newly-hired caregiver, Aunty Queenie, she cooked delicious food. What was more, she was excellent at serving pregnant women. Every day, she nourished Charity to make sure the latter had sufficient breast milk, and Charity recovered very well.

On the day Charity left the confinement center, Max came to visit her and brought with him many tonics, as well as toys.

At the sight of the motherly Charity carrying her baby on the couch, Max was filled with mixed feelings.

He never expected that Charity would return with a baby in her belly after she her overseas trip last year.

However, there were certain things that he had no choice but to accept.

“Why did you buy so many things?” Charity lifted her head and furrowed her brows. “I haven’t even managed to use everything you bought for me the last time.”

“I brought you clothes the last time, and this time, I bought toys.” Max put the things on the table and bent over to touch the baby’s face. “Tsk. He’s fairer than before and more good-looking now.”

While he was speaking, he was heartbroken.

If the baby belonged Charity and him, he must be good-looking too.

“Charity, you’re too much. Since you only need sperm to be with child, why did you spend money to buy it? You could’ve used mine. Look how wonderful my physique is and how nimble I am. My sperm is definitely as good as those out there,” Max said sourly.

At the sight of the scene, Max was moved. It was his first time seeing how calm and gentle Charity was.

Perhaps that was the best outcome.

After all, was letting go and being happy not the way to live?

“By the way, I saw your neighbor moving some furnitures. Are they moving out?” Max suddenly asked.

Charity was dumbfounded. She had been so focused on her confinement that she was unaware of certain things.

Aunty Queenie, who was picking out a menu at the side, said, “When I was going to the market yesterday, I had a talk with the caregiver next door. Apparently, the owner of the house has a larger seaside villa and is planning to live there with his family.”

Max was astonished. “Currently, the building of villas at the seaside is prohibited, and the bid price of villas like this was about one billion dollars each earlier. Is your neighbor rich?”
