“Oh, so you’re the famous elder artist Martin Xenos! It’s a pleasure to meet you!”
“Likewise, it’s a surprise to meet you, Master O’Brien. I didn’t expect you to be so young. Truly impressive.”
After some polite exchanges, under Louis’s guidance, Martin and O’Brien headed to a lounge for a private chat while the others continued to enjoy the
exhibition.
After seeing the so–called O’Brien Master for herself, Caitlin immediately contacted Quincy, instructing him to investigate the artist’s background. She was eager to find out who had the audacity to pretend to be O’Brien!
The exhibition was following a set schedule, and after all the invited guests had arrived, Master O’Brien would do a live painting session. Afterward, there would be a charity auction where his paintings would be sold, with all proceeds going to charity. Finally, there would be a gallery appreciation reception for all guests.
After O’Brien’s departure, the guests were free to disperse.
Yasmin, noticing Caitlin nearby, walked up and sneered, “Caitlin, what are you doing here again? Let me tell you, you don’t stand a chance! My sister–in- law and my brother are not getting divorced.”
“You’re the one with issues!” Caitlin retorted, then turned away, not wanting to waste time arguing with someone so senseless.
“Hey, who are you calling messed up? You better clarify yourself!” Yasmin blocked her path.
Caitlin looked at her coldly. “If you don’t want to embarrass yourself, stop looking for trouble with me.”
“Such arrogance! I just want to know why you’re here today,” Yasmin shot back. “Are you not taking care of Sebastian again and are now trying to seduce another man? Who doesn’t know that today’s charity auction is for the upper class?”
“Whatever I do is none of your business!” Caitlin snapped, brushing past her and continuing her walk. Some women were just like flies–buzzing around
incessantly.
Yasmin, frustrated and furious, watched Caitlin walk away, and noticed her heading toward a young man, laughing and talking together.
Aha!
That young man must be her new lover! Yasmin immediately pulled out her phone, snapping a few pictures of the two of them looking particularly close, then sent them directly to Sebastian’s phone. She wanted him to know that he was being cheated on again.
Xavi, who was handling Sebastian’s messages, received the photos from Yasmin. After glancing at them, he said nothing.
Sebastian heard the notification sound and asked, “Who sent that?”
“It’s from Yasmin,” Xavi replied.
