11th Division Barracks, Captain's Quarters.
"Masatsuki, you lazy bum, time to get up."
Masatsuki Aozaki lay in bed, holding his green-haired lover in his arms. She was soft and light, his drowsy eyes fluttering open to a familiar sight.
Floating in the air were the twin sisters, Banshō and Senran. Banshō, the older sister, was making a silly face, while Senran, the younger one, puffed up her cheeks in mock anger and poked his face.
"You two are just too cute!" Masatsuki thought to himself with genuine admiration. "I was just dreaming about you!"
"Huh?!" Senran froze mid-motion, her cheeks instantly turning bright red.
Banshō covered her face and chuckled.
They had mimicked Muramasa's power.
Whenever Masatsuki absentmindedly called out their names in his mind, the twins would forcibly hijack Muramasa's ability and pop out to mess with him.
As a result, every time he attempted Jinzen lately, a tall, emotional woman—standing at 1.7 meters—would inevitably throw herself into his arms, sobbing dramatically.
Masatsuki grasped the hilt of Banshō Senran and entered his inner world.
The once pure-white landscape had changed long ago, now filled with color. The earth had taken on a natural brown hue, waves rhythmically crashed against rocky shores, and the blazing sun and crimson moon hung high in the sky. A gentle breeze, like a girl's delicate fingers, brushed against his face, carrying the sounds of chirping birds, rustling beasts, and splashing fish. Laughter echoed continuously in the distance.
In one corner, a woman with long brown hair crouched low. She wore a tight-fitting bodysuit beneath a flowing leather skirt that reached her ankles. Her mature, alluring figure was fully wrapped in white garments.
Even in high-heeled white boots, her posture remained effortlessly graceful. Her large, expressive eyes shimmered with unshed tears.
Masatsuki suspected this stark contrast in appearance and demeanor was a product of Banshō's twisted sense of humor.
But Banshō insisted that this "timid older sister" was actually a manifestation of Masatsuki's own subconscious desires.
"Masatsuki, Banshō and Senran are bullying me!" Muramasa rushed toward him, visibly flustered, and leaped into his arms, clinging onto him like a koala.
"Alright, alright, I got it. I'll deal with them later." Masatsuki ran his fingers through her silky hair, holding her with a smile.
There's no way I have such a weird sense of humor... But this timid older sister is seriously soft and smells nice. And that contrast in her personality is kind of adorable.
"Mmm, Masatsuki, you have to stand up for me," Muramasa mumbled weakly, resting against him as she took a deep breath, giggling to herself.
"Muramasa, Masatsuki-chan belongs to everyone, you can't keep him all to yourself."
A cheerful voice rang out from behind. Turning his head, Masatsuki met Banshō's gentle gaze. Muramasa stiffened instantly.
"Ane-san..." she muttered sheepishly.
Ane-san? What is this, some kind of delinquent girl gang?
Masatsuki had no idea how to deal with this instantly submissive older sister. He couldn't even bring himself to try.
Without a word, Senran grabbed Muramasa by the back of her collar and casually tossed her aside. She traced a graceful arc through the air before crashing into a pile of rubble.
"You went a little overboard, didn't you?" Masatsuki Aozaki chuckled, though he wasn't really worried about Muramasa. This wasn't the first time something like this had happened.
"We sisters wouldn't hurt her. With the right intent, even stone can turn soft," Senran said quickly, gazing up at the sun and moon shining together in the sky.
Masatsuki grinned. "I always keep you in my heart."
Was this her way of reminding him to pay more attention to her? How subtle.
If it were Banshō, she'd just tell him straight up to care about her more instead of dancing around the point like this!
"I don't need your concern. Besides, saying that now doesn't sound convincing at all," Senran huffed, crossing her arms and looking away. But deep inside, she couldn't help feeling a rush of joy.
Masatsuki really does care about me. He understands my feelings.
Watching him rush over, Banshō's whole expression brightened with delight.
