I returned home the day news broke that the Moonridge Pack’s business empire had completely collapsed.

I was standing outside the building, feeling lost.

This company I’d helped Cassian build from nothing had finally crumbled along with our shattered mate bond.

But that didn’t matter. I’d come back to resurrect it in a different form.

After meeting with the original shareholders and finalizing the details, I walked out and came face to face with Cassian.

I thought I was seeing things.

‘I know I hurt you. I’ll spend the rest of my life atoning for it. Can’t you forgive me?”

‘I saw those videos. Every single one. I made myself watch so I’d remember the hatred. I want you and Annabelle to pay for what you did.”

‘Let go of me. Meeting you was the biggest mistake of my life. You make me sick.”

My words drained the color from his face. Tears started falling.

His eyes were full of desperate pleading, begging me to forgive him.

‘I’ll make amends. I’ll-”

I didn’t let him finish, turning and walking away.

His voice grew fainter behind me until I couldn’t hear it anymore.

The next day, I received signed mate bond severance papers from Cassian.

That afternoon, the Pack Council called-he’d turned himself in.

Confessing to hiring rogues to kill me multiple times.

He also implicated Annabelle as his accomplice. She was taken into Council custody immediately.

When Annabelle’s Alpha mate learned about everything, he flew back from his pack territory and formally rejected her,
