Chapter 55 

Niamh left. Once the office was empty except for Castiel, he slammed the glass from the coffee table, sending it shattering onto the floor. 

Damn it, what had he even been saying earlier? He must have been so infuriated by Niamh that he got so worked up and couldn’t think straight. 

Yes, according to what Niamh said, he had never actually thought of her that way. He had always taken pride in how well he took care of her. 

“Damn it! This is insane…” He had originally wan. J to persuade her to move back to Maplewood.

After leaving Castiel’s office, Quinn waited for her in the car. 

On the way to meet the client, Niamh paused and asked Quinn, “Do you think he’ll obstruct my actions now?” 

She knew about Castiel’s influence in Greenburg. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to shake things up on Billie’s side so easily yesterday. 

She was trying to start her own life. However, now that she was fighting with Castiel over the divorce, she was clearly provoking him without limits and worried he might cause trouble. 

However, Quinn said, “Mr. Jimenez thought of that as well. The list of 

clients we’ve given you consists of Mr. Jimenez’s acquaintances, so don’t worry.”

“No, but Mr. Jimenez has already made arrangements to ensure you’re well taken care of.” 

Niamh let out a sigh of relief, but almost immediately, her heart was in her throat again. 

She had just been caught up in negative rumors about Simon, and now. these companies were receiving calls to ensure that Simon took good care of her. 

Greenburg wasn’t large, and companies were closely connected, so it was easy to predict that Castiel would hear about it soon.
