Chapter 82 

Niamh grew drowsy after getting in the car. It was obvious that she was very ill. When they finally reached the hospital, she was shivering from head to toe. 

Even though she was completely wrapped up, she couldn’t stop shaking. It was a classic sign of fever. 

“Are you very cold?” Blake’s aloof voice sounded in her ear. 

With difficulty, Niamh opened her eyes to look at him. “Yes,” she said in a nasally voice. 

She was really cold. She wished she could bury herself in her blanket right now. She was so cold that it felt like there was ice in her bones. 

A warm sensation wrapped around her. Blake had draped his jacket over her body. It felt warm. 

Finally, surrounded by the warmth, Niamh fell asleep. 

At the hospital, Nathan looked at Blake nervously. “Allow me.” 

Blake got down from the car and rolled up his sleeves. It seemed like he was going to carry Niamh in his arms. Nathan’s heart was beating wildly. 

However, a cold glance from Blake made him stop in his tracks. 

He still couldn’t help but remind Blake. “Mrs. Jamison is being heavily criticized by the public these days. Maybe you shouldn’t-” 

“Are you saying that if you bring her inside, unfounded rumors won’t spread?” 

Nathan was at a loss for words. 

Well, actually, it didn’t matter whom Niamh was seen with now. So long as it was a man, it could be twisted into some groundless 

accusation. 

Of course, if it was Blake, then no one would dare do anything rash. After all, he was know as the Hellraiser of Greenburg. 

Castiel had a gentle image, which was why people dared to provoké him. However, no one would dare do the same to Blake unless they were prepared to lose their career. 

Niamh was weak from her fever. Even her consciousness grew foggy. It was clear that she had to even push herself to even meet with Blake today. 

Blake carried her to the emergency room. 

Coincidentally, Castiel happened to be walking out the hospital doors at that moment. After living in Greenburg for so long, the two of them. had their own territories, so they rarely ran into each other. 

But now… 

Castiel’s expression was cool. The moment he saw who the woman in Blake’s arms was, his eyes widened. 

On the other hand, Blake looked composed. 

“Blake!” Castiel said through gritted teeth. 

His thoughts were running wild at that moment. Previously, it was the chairman of Titan International Corporation, and now it was Blake from Leopardbite Intl. 

He never knew that his wife was this capable. 

Niamh woke up to a chill in her arm. She was already feeling chilly, but the icy feeling she felt on her arm was like she had been placed in 

a freezer. 

Even in a daze, she couldn’t miss the icy gaze pinning her down. 

“If you’re awake, then open your eyes!” Castiel said in a frigid tone 

next to her. 

Niamh’s eyes flew open. 

The moment she saw the light above her, she began to shake even more violently. Her gaze quickly flitted around her surroundings. 

When she saw that she was in a hospital room, she sighed in relief. 

“What are you afraid of?” Castiel said coolly. 

Niamh stared at him. The last thing she could remember was being in Blake’s car, so why was she with Castiel now? 

Castiel noticed the way she reacted. He looked at her mockingly, questioning her sardonically, “What, are you disappointed to see me? Who did you think it was going to be? Was it the chairman of the Titan International Corporation or perhaps Blake Field?” 

Blake Field? 

So his first name was Blake. 

“Answer me!” Castiel roared angrily when Niamh ignored him. 

Niamh gazed at him indifferently. “What do you want me to say?” 

Her thoughts were already a mess! He hadn’t even figured out the truth about Macy, and now he was interrogating her. Who gave him the right to do that?
