Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 139

After three days on the island, Natalie and her friends returned home. She took one more day to rest before heading back to the office. She had sketched numerous designs during her trip and now needed to review fabric samples. She had asked her assistant, Luna, to prepare them that morning. After she was done, she planned to meet Queena at a spa. The days at the beach had left her a bit tanned.

As she got out of her car in front of the office building, her elegant figure stood out in the morning light.

“Natalie.”

The familiar voice made her want to punch someone. She turned to see Jerome, dressed in a baseball uniform and cap, glaring at her with cold eyes.

“Mr. Scott. Can I help you?” Natalie’s tone was dismissive.

“What did you do to Joanna? She’s been upset for days. You’re coming with me to apologize to her.”

“She’s upset, and you’re coming to me?” Natalie interrupted, incredulous.

“You’re going to go apologize to her. You’re the one who stole Sebastian, and that’s why she’s unhappy,” Jerome insisted.

Natalie sighed and took a deep breath. How was she related to such an idiot? This was too much for first thing in the morning.

“Get lost,” she snarled.

Jerome was stunned. “You’re telling me to get lost? You… you’re just a high school dropout. The only reason you’re the design director here is because you seduced Mr. Jones with that pretty face of yours. After doing something so disgusting, how can you still cling to Sebastian?”

He looked at her with utter contempt.

Natalie let out a bitter laugh. “You should be telling Sebastian to get a divorce. He’s the one refusing to sign the final papers. And for the record, Keith is not you.”

Jerome sneered. “Tonight, I need you to teach someone a lesson for me. Her name is Natalie. I’ll send you her office address. Don’t kill her, just rough her up a bit.”

“Done,” the man agreed readily.

After hanging up, Jerome called Joanna.

“Jerome,” Joanna’s voice was weak and listless. It made his heart ache.

“Joanna, Natalie refuses to come apologize to you. But don’t worry, I’ve arranged for someone to teach her a lesson. She won’t have a job soon, and she’ll have no choice but to look up to you.” The memory of what happened six months ago filled Jerome with hatred.

“Don’t do that,” Joanna said, her voice filled with alarm. “It’s fine if Natalie doesn’t apologize. I know you’ve been in a bad mood lately, but you have a competition coming up. You can’t do anything illegal.”
