Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 156

Joanna stumbled back, her face pale, her eyes welling with tears. A vicious hatred churned within her. She wanted to kill Natalie, right here, right now. The look of absolute confidence on Natalie's face sent a chill of pure panic down her spine. Natalie had changed. She was no longer an easy target.

What did she know?

Natalie had said all she needed to. She calmly handed her credit card to the sales assistant to pay for Queena's suit.

Queena finally understood. Natalie wasn't a pushover anymore; she was fighting back. A wave of relief washed over her, and her voice was thick with emotion. "Natty, you've finally grown up. You're not letting them walk all over you."

Natalie squeezed her hand. "Silly, I was never a pushover. I just held back because I saw them as family. But everyone's patience has a limit."

Queena beamed. "This is great! Now I can go back to my retreat without worrying about you."

Natalie smiled, taking her card back from the assistant. "Let's go."

Queena shot one last glare at Joanna. That woman may have been lucky in life, but she was rotten to the core. Her fate was already sealed; she was as good as dead. And Queena couldn't waste her energy on a dead person. As her eyes swept past Yvonne, she paused, her gaze lingering on the other woman's stomach.

The look made Yvonne deeply uncomfortable. She instinctively covered her belly with her hands. "What are you looking at? I'm pregnant! You better not try to harm my baby!"

Queena just sneered. "With all the sins you've committed, you should focus on doing some good deeds. Stop creating more bad karma."

"Don't you dare leave!" Joanna suddenly shouted, blocking Natalie's path.

The sales assistant's eyes lit up. "Of course, miss! Right away!"

Queena and Natalie sat down on a nearby bench to watch the show.

"That's your man's money she's spending..." Queena murmured.

"Hey, don't say that," Natalie corrected her quietly. "He's her man, not mine. I will never get back together with Sebastian. I gave my all when I loved him, and now that I'm leaving, I'll forget him completely." She had said it countless times, but Queena still seemed skeptical.

"Really?" Queena asked, studying her face.
