Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 242

The call connected, and Natalie’s cool voice drifted into the phone. “Sebastian, are all your receptionists this arrogant? I called you because I don’t have an appointment, and she’s already calling security to throw me out.”

The receptionist grew even bolder. “Miss, the only woman allowed free access to this company is the president’s beloved, Ms. Scott. You just barged in here. What are you if not a troublemaker? Did I do something wrong?”

She glared at Natalie. “And who do you think you are, shouting in here? One look at your face and I can tell you’re cheap trash, probably trying to seduce our president.”

Natalie’s expression hardened. So that was it.

She hung up without even hearing what Sebastian said.

Taking a step forward, she drove a powerful kick into the receptionist’s stomach. Caught off guard, the woman flew backward and landed in a heap on the floor.

Natalie let out a cold laugh, her words dripping with fury. “When you push someone too far, there’s no need to hold back.”

“Natalie, what are you doing? How dare you attack someone here!” Joanna’s voice rang out as she arrived, carrying a lunch container and staring at Natalie with outrage.

Perfect, Joanna thought. Natalie found out and came to cause trouble for Sebastian. This is just what I wanted. She had warned Natalie to get out of Yaro, or there would be consequences.

“Ms. Scott, help me! This woman is insane, she attacked me!” the receptionist cried, her body trembling. That one kick had nearly knocked the wind out of her, and her head was spinning.

“Natalie, I’ll call the police!” Joanna threatened.

Natalie raised a delicate eyebrow. Dressed in a long black dress that seemed to shimmer with a cool light, she chuckled. “Go ahead. I just so happen to have some evidence of you framing me. I’d be happy to hand it over to the authorities.”

“Sebastian!” Joanna cried, rushing to his side. “Natalie is assaulting people in your company! She’s completely out of control!”

Sebastian’s sharp gaze fell on Natalie. “Why did you hit her?”

Natalie smiled coolly. “Why did I hit her? Why don’t you ask your receptionist how she treats your guests? The filth she spewed was unbearable. I have a short temper, and I don’t tolerate that kind of talk. So I hit her. What of it? Go on, call the police.”

Sebastian could see the bone-deep chill emanating from her and knew just how furious she was.

“Sir, I didn’t! She’s lying!” the receptionist whimpered, stumbling over to Sebastian to play the victim.

Luna sneered and held up her phone, playing a video for Sebastian to see. “Mr. Griffith, your receptionist certainly has an attitude.”
