Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 245

Natalie’s cold laugh was strangely beautiful. “Verna, you want to know why I’m crazy? How does it feel, using my stolen designs?”

The moment Verna saw Natalie, she knew why she was here.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. How could I possibly steal your designs? You were just a director parachuted into the company. Compared to a seasoned designer with real talent like me, where do you get the nerve to accuse me of plagiarism?”

Natalie took another step forward, her eyes glowing with a cold light. She looked like a demon crawled out of hell, yet her eyes remained as clear and pure as spring water.

“Then let’s go. To the police station. I have ways of proving you stole my work.”

“Get up,” Natalie commanded.

Verna froze, then shouted back, “I didn’t do it! Don’t you dare slander me!” She shot a desperate glance at Joanna, silently pleading for help.

Natalie saw the exchange and everything clicked into place. “Why are you looking at Joanna? You two know each other. Oh, I get it now. Jerome took pictures of my designs, but he never sent them to anyone. Yet, the photos vanished from his album. The only people who could have gotten to his phone were Joanna and Sebastian. Who else could it be?”

Joanna glared at her. “Natalie, I think you’ve lost your mind. You can’t design anything yourself, so you accuse others of theft? If you’re so capable, why don’t you just draw something new?”

“But isn’t what you stole what I drew?” Natalie retorted with a smile.

“Don’t you dare make false accusations! I didn’t do it!” Joanna clutched Sebastian’s arm. “Sebastian, say something! Natalie is causing a scene. Just have someone throw her out.”

Natalie took a deep breath, deciding to end the charade. She pulled out her phone, showing a video from the security camera she’d installed in her office.

“This is a detailed record of me creating the designs. Every single line was drawn by my own hand. And this security footage clearly shows the time and place I worked on them every day, as well as the entire process of Jerome taking them.” Natalie held the phone out for Verna to see.

Verna’s face went pale, a look of pure terror in her eyes. She never expected Natalie to have such concrete evidence.

“I… I…” she stammered, unable to form a complete sentence.

“Verna, a designer’s most valuable asset is their integrity. I can’t believe you would do something like this.” Natalie looked at her with disappointment. “Do you have any idea what this means to me? These were the most important designs for my collaboration with the Monroe Group. And you just stole them for your own selfish gain.”
