Seeing the tears welling in her eyes gave him a perverse sense of pleasure. He would never admit that Natalie was exceptional. He would never admit that they had been blind.

He stepped closer to Natalie, his voice laced with a bone-chilling cold. "Natalie, at least you have some self-awareness. My father brought you back to use you. You're only just figuring that out now? Well, since you've figured it out, you should get lost and stay far away. Don't interfere with Joanna's happiness. You think you're even worthy of being compared to her?"
