Natalie just smiled and focused on the road. Twenty minutes later, they arrived at Zenobia's building. Natalie got out and opened the trunk, pulling out bags of baby supplies she'd brought for Zenobia. She had asked Wayne to ship them from abroad.
It was a niche brand she knew of; in her previous life, she had researched it extensively after getting pregnant. In a few years, it would become a leader in the baby products market. She was planning to go abroad next month to discuss becoming a distributor. "Zenobia, this is the formula my brother sent, along with some other baby things. It's perfect for newborns, all-natural ingredients, different from other brands. The shelf life is short, so these are just small cans for now. Once the baby is born, we can get the larger ones." In two years, the brand's products would be a global sensation.
Zenobia happily took the formula, and they carried everything upstairs. The weather was nice, and Natalie was already itching to go diving for spider conches. Zenobia saw the look in her eyes and smiled. "Thinking about going in the water again?"
Natalie, who loved spider conches, grinned. "Zenobia, I won't need an instructor today. Will you come with me? You can just wait on the shore. The sea breeze isn't cold, and the visibility looks great. I might find us some spider conches for dinner." A couple of large ones would be enough for a meal.
Zenobia knew her friend came here mainly for the diving. "Come on, get your gear. I'll take you to a spot where the instructors are diving. It's a rare major low tide, so there should be a lot to catch. They went looking for Emperor Star Grouper."
"Let's go, let's go!" Natalie was thrilled. "After a big low tide, the catch should be amazing." Then she looked at Zenobia's belly with concern. "Actually, Zenobia, maybe you should wait here for me. I'll be back in about four hours. I'd worry about you out there."
As Natalie slipped into the water, a notification pinged on the phone sitting on Sebastian's desk. His eyes paused for a second before he snatched up the phone and opened Natalie's Facebook page. He saw her in her diving suit again, her smile as bright as the sun.
Sebastian's finger gently traced the outline of her smile on the screen. So, she likes to dive. Last time she was with an instructor. This time she was alone. The sleek black diving suit hugged her figure perfectly, and he found the sight of her by herself far more pleasing.
