Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 375

Sebastian's brow furrowed. He leaned back in his chair, his voice casual. "They have quite the appetite. Tell me what you've found."

Sean said, "Mr. Wilson had people involved in tonight's scheme. I found a short video clip. When Luna was taken, I saw a familiar face nearby—the Wilson family's butler."

Sebastian's eyes darkened. "Mm. Have someone keep an eye on them. You can go home and rest."

Sean looked at his boss' expressionless face. "Sir, aren't you going home?"

Sebastian closed his eyes wearily and shook his head, his voice hoarse. "I'm sleeping at the office."

Sean didn't try to persuade him. He would also be sleeping at the office tonight; commuting back and forth was too much trouble.

Sean ordered some late-night food for Sebastian and placed it on his desk. "Sir, you should eat something. You can't afford to run your body into the ground."

Sebastian gave a faint nod. "Mm."

After Sean left, Sebastian picked up his phone and opened Natalie's Facebook page. She hadn't posted much recently, just that one post from the beach.

That woman really didn't have him in her heart anymore.

Before, she would text him every day to come home for dinner. But since the banquet, she hadn't initiated contact with him at all, except to talk about the divorce.

She said she didn't love him anymore, and it agitated him to no end.

He opened the takeout container on his desk and started to eat.

His father's illegitimate son was getting bold, even sending him a taunting message today.

He couldn't let his health fail. He had to eat.

His gaze was sharp and unforgiving, his every move exuding the oppressive air of someone in power.

...

After a day of rest, Natalie went to the office.

Nothing about the incident at the business banquet had leaked online. The internet was quiet; even her name yielded no search results.

He picked up his phone and looked at his chat with Natalie, which was still on yesterday's conversation.

After a moment's thought, he sent her a message.

[Ms. Sanders, my grandmother had a full check-up today. Dr. Herbert said she's ready for surgery. Thank you!]

After sending the message, he waited nervously for her reply.

Natalie was about to ask Luna about it when she saw Ian's message.

She immediately understood who it was. Ian. She hadn't forgotten that his skills were far beyond those of an ordinary hacker.

In her past life, his story had not ended well. This time, she had met him earlier. She hoped he would have a better fate.

Natalie replied to his message.

[That's good. This minimally invasive surgery won't be too hard on your grandmother's body, and the chance of recurrence is low. Take good care of her, and call me anytime if you need help.]
