Natalie had dinner with Matthew, and he drove her home personally.

She was exhausted from the day, so she didn't invite him in.

Just after Matthew left and she had locked the villa's main gate, the doorbell suddenly rang.

Thinking Matthew had come back for something, she opened the door without looking and called out, “Mr. Monroe…”

When she saw it was Sebastian, she stopped short.

She frowned. “Sebastian, what are you doing here?”

Sebastian’s smile was thin and laced with amusement. “What? Disappointed to see it’s me and not Mr. Monroe?”

“A little, yes.” Natalie tried to shut the door. She didn’t know how he’d found her, but she knew living in the same city meant he’d discover her location eventually.

The house wasn't in her name, so even if Sebastian tried to look it up, he wouldn't find anything.

Sebastian surveyed the luxurious villa. It made sense now why she didn't seem to care about his money.

His gaze turned cold as he looked at her. “Natalie, did Keith buy this house for you?”

If he had known Natalie’s true identity back then, he would have given her the best of everything.

He could have given her a mansion like this, too. But why did she have to hide who she was for so long?

Hearing the sarcasm in his voice, Natalie offered a faint smile. “Who bought it for me is none of your business. It’s late, and I need to rest. Please leave, Mr. Griffith.”

Natalie tried to close the door, but Sebastian pushed it open with a light shove.

He stepped inside, closed the door behind him, and a playful smile touched his lips. “I’m your husband. Aren’t you going to invite me in?”

Natalie was speechless. What was wrong with him tonight?
