Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 490

“That’s right. If Natalie hadn’t discovered that my supplements were poisoned, I’d be dead by now. Such a wonderful child, and because of that witch Joanna, I’ve completely lost my daughter.”

“I was so stupid. Joanna is all talk and no action. But Natalie is different. When I was sick, she would stay by my side to take care of me. If I craved something from outside, she would go with me to get it.”

“Such a good child, but because Joanna relentlessly framed her, causing us all to misunderstand her, she finally lost all hope in me and left.”

“Lindsay, why is my life such a failure? My Natalie, so kind and outstanding, was nothing but a country bumpkin in the eyes of those Scotts.”

“Colin even tried to give her away to other men. Do you think I can trust him? No, Lindsay. I don’t want any of these four sons. None of them are human.”

Wendy buried her face in Lindsay’s shoulder, sobbing her heart out.

Lindsay, her own heart aching, closed her eyes and gently comforted her. “Wendy, it’s alright. We’re all here with you. You’ll be okay. Since the four of them have chosen Nathan and Joanna, then let them go.”

Outside the door, Colin stood in disbelief. His eyes were wide with shock, unable to process the truth he had just heard. His tall frame trembled, and tears streamed down his face.

His mother was disowning them because of this.

His father had tricked her into marriage, Joanna had plotted against Natalie, turning them all against her, and next on the list were the four brothers.

His eyes turned bloodshot, as fierce as a cornered animal.

His father had another son out there, and both he and Joanna had funneled money to that illegitimate child to start a business.

And they, the four brothers, were just stepping stones for that pair of siblings.

So Natalie was right. A few gentle words from Joanna were all it took to make them run in circles for her.
