She spoke calmly as she descended the steps—every move radiating a quiet authority, as if she alone controlled the room.

Lois froze, her expression stiff. She didn't have any video.

Giselle, realizing what he was about to do, bit her lip hard. If Benedict reached Cynthia, she knew any hope she had would vanish. In a panic, she grabbed his arm.

"Benedict, I'm not feeling well, would you take me to the hospital?"

He shook off her hand, his expression dark and cold.

Giselle stumbled, only managing to stay upright thanks to someone steadying her.

"Benedict…" she pleaded, voice trembling.

But he wouldn't look at her. Jaw set, he strode straight up to Cynthia, forcing himself to speak gently despite the tension in his voice.

"Cynthia, please, let me explain. What happened with her was a complete accident, I—"

She didn't let him finish. Her smile was cutting, her eyes mocking.

"Do you like it? The surprise I prepared just for you."

Benedict's brow furrowed, frustration and helplessness flickering in his eyes as he lowered his voice.

"Cynthia, I know you're angry. Please, give me some time. I'll take care of this, I'll end things with her for good. Just give me one more chance, I promise it won't happen again."

"Today is our wedding day. There are so many guests here—not to mention some partners from VistaSphere Group. If we keep making a scene, it could—"
