The next day, Isabella went to work at the company.
Alexander was throwing a tantrum again. He didn't speak to Isabella for the entire day, and he didn't arrange any work for her either.
As she was left with a lot of free time, she decided to see if there were any suitable commissions for her online. Ever since becoming Alexander's secretary, she hadn't had much time for part-time commissions. Now that she thought about it, she hadn't created art in a long time.
She browsed the forums but didn't come across any good listings, though she did see a post that caught her attention. The title was, "Why can't I be proud? My mentor is Glamoore!"
Isabella couldn't help but frown and click on the post. It turned out to be that influencer, SunnyBite. Why was it her again?
She glanced through the post and found out that SunnyBite was basically showing off that she had become Glamoore's apprentice. SunnyBite had even posted her daily chat history with Glamoore.
Glamoore had always kept a low profile online. Apart from posting their own works, they practically never published anything on their own account.
If not for the fact that they would post promotional content every time their new work was released, it would've been impossible to confirm that the account was even theirs.
So, now that SunnyBite had posted chat records between herself and Glamoore, Glamoore's die-hard fans were extremely excited. They analyzed Glamoore's responses word for word to get a feel for Glamoore's personality, and it wasn't long before there were hundreds of thousands of replies to the original post.
It was obvious just how numerous and powerful Glamoore's fans were.
Isabella sent the post to Vivian and asked, "Have you seen this, Vivi?"
Vivian was almost always online and replied instantly to her text message. She first sent a sticker of a disdainful expression before replying, "I saw it long ago! Look at how smug she's acting! She has already forgotten about her previous plagiarism!"
Isabella said nothing.
Vivian continued, "If only I knew Glamoore, I would tell them all about that brat's terrible behavior! I'm guessing Glamoore might not surf the Internet much, which is why they don't know what kind of person SunnyBite is!"
Isabella sent a smiling sticker back to Vivian and replied, "With how much attention she's attracting, Glamoore probably knows now."
Vivian sent her a sticker of someone snorting. "Good! It'd be best if they fired her! But I heard that there'll be an artists' gathering in Solara at the end of the month, which SunnyBite mentioned Glamoore might also attend.
"Glamoore's fans are all begging SunnyBite to help convince Glamoore to attend now! SunnyBite promised her fans that she'd do her best. Do you think Glamoore will really attend? I really wanna know what Glamoore looks like too."
She added, "Their art style is so gentle yet compelling, and the stories they tell through their art are so moving, so Glamoore must be a wonderful person!"
Isabella smiled and couldn't help teasing her. "What if it's a scruffy old man…"
