Chosen just to be Rejected (by Jennifer Francis) novel Chapter 101

101 Bella Shed never had a reason to come down into the packs archives before , while being the Luna here .

Shed had her own Lunas Library down a set of stairs in the Lunas office .

She could see it was laid out pretty much like the Lunas Library , only it was twice the size but had smaller bookcases with little plaques on them to denote what type of books were on the shelves .

She took the book Parker held out to her as she asked Whos allowed in here ? Everyone , they just need to fill out the form with the pack librarian , and then they can come and read what they need , he pointed to a few tables with chairs and lamps , or they are allocated a time and date for them to bring it back to the librarian , only human translations are allowed out of this room .

Well have to scan this one out before leaving the room , so it gets logged as leaving the archives .

Ill attach it to my fingerprint , seeing as youre no longer a pack member .

he answered her .

Mm , mine will not register , Kane and I came to the library and had my print removed from the system the day I left .

He nodded .

On that note , about you doing all of that with Kane .

It wasnt done with me because I just couldnt do it … he sighed , Id likely have reclaimed you , marked and mated you whether you wanted that or not .

It was a hard day for me .

I left the pack in the end , so I could let you go … I really didnt want to , but you needed your freedom .

She stared at him as they left the archives .

Oh , I thought you left the pack to go and Mark and Mate Carina .

Parker shook his head .

It was so I didnt know the exact moment you left pack territory .

Id likely have stopped you , gone after you and … he ran a hand through his hair .

Made things a lot worse .

Im sorry , I dont think that … she trailed off .

How did one state shed still have said no to him , shed craved her freedom and even if hed told her back then that hed loved her and wanted her to stay , shed not have wanted that herself .

Shed not felt anything for him .

She never had, and she didnt think it was at all his fault either .

It was likely to do with Freya , she now realised .

I know and at least I understand that now… How are you feeling ? I got the feeling that you were a bit overwhelmed today , I think .

< 101 Bella nodded Upset .

She stated I couldnt even understand my own tears .

+8 Points ) I saw that .

Theres probably going to be more of that , you being overwhelmed if , as we suspect , there is a wolf underneath Freya trying to get out of you .

If Freya has cut off your connection to everything and everyone … when shes gone , He sighed a little on the heavy side .

I think youll feel overwhelmed by everything , and Belladonna , you might not cope with that .

A sudden onset of emotions youve never had to deal with before .

She muttered , that was probably not going to be fun for her .

Do you think Freya did it on purpose ? she asked curiously .

He seemed to think about it for a long moment and then stated , It is likely , though , in her eyes , she may have a very good reason , if she was your mothers wolf .

Though I dont think she was that either , she could well have taken your mother over to stop her from feeling all the pain and hurt a Citron Wolf suffers through .

Shed thought that herself just today .

I guess not feeling any emotions about anything at all , that would disconnect one from trauma and harm done to them .

Maybe she thought she was saving me .

Bella mused .

From your own father at that .

If he made use of your mother in that very manner , your life would have been just like hers , if your own wolf emerged at you turning 16 , and he saw her , Parker nodded slowly .

He was evil .

She muttered .

Parker nodded .

Youre nothing like him , Belladonna .

A Citron wolf though had a bright orange tinge to its fur , their eye colour could vary from bright orange to iridescent blue , and they were most commonly recognised by the unusual bright orange tinge to their fur , which was not a wolfen colour .

It was bright , like the Citron stone itself .

They were known to be wolves of fertility and their history went back a millennia , to the creation of their species , by the moon goddess herself .

The Citron Wolf was thought to be created to help populate the species , though not created to be used and abused , but to be happy and bring about fertility to those around them .

When one wasnt mated , it was written that under the weight of a super moon , s * x with a Citron Wolf would bring about pups for whatever pack they were in at the time .

That most would not find a Goddess Gifted Mate until later in life , so that their gift could be widespread among the Wolfen Kind .

It was only when the power hungry Alpha wolves realised what a Citron Wolf could do , did they start coming to harm and were used against their will .

They were slaved out on supermoons to other packs , mated against their will to Alphas in order to have them grow their pack .

It was also recorded that the use of the Citron Wolf came at a high price .

Its owner could make the Alpha wanting to use her , pay whatever he wanted because they were rare ; few and far between .

That the she wolf never got to live her life as she saw fit once found out to be a 3/4 101 +8 Points > Citron Wolf .

They were simply chained and forced into a life of slaved breeding and the one that owned them did try to have children with them , to create more of them , just to be sold in full or slaved out like its mother .

But most children that were birthed were boys and useless to those around them .

Only a female could be a Citron Wolf or produce a Citron Wolf and not all girls born to a Citron Wolf carried the gene either .

It was rare for one to be born at all .

Bella put that book down and sighed .

Her mother was just like that she supposed , though she had no actual proof of it .

But from what shed heard from her grandmother , it had to be and she was the female offspring .

Everything in that book told her things she knew to be true about herself .

She wondered just how long her mother had suffered at the hands of whoever owned her.

She had been told she had died in childbirth .

That was likely to be a full lie , to either help her mother escape her life , or to slave her off to another and keep them separated .

It was likely her own grandmother wasnt actually her grandmother either , just someone shed been bled to as a baby , so her own father didnt have to raise her and become attached to her , considering what he wanted to use her for .
