104 Parker It took him all of about 10 seconds of looking at that woman walking towards them , to know who she was going to be , something he himself had pondered over this past week , but had not actually said anything .

This was the one woman that could call Freya out , and now he understood why he nor Vex had been able to .

Why no one could .

The past three days inside his own pack , hed felt a presence here , and hed hunted it himself just last night .

Hed gone out to try and track it as it moved about inside his pack .

To come home to me , she stated simply , calmly for he and Shannon to hear as well as Freya .

Home to you ? Parker asked , and though it was what he suspected , he couldnt help but to ask the question , because he wanted an actual answer to it .

Her eyes moved right towards him and then , as she waved a hand , and he watched Shannon just crumple to the ground unconscious next to him and understood in that moment , that was what had happened to his entire pack .

They werent sleeping but unconscious at Selenas will .

Mm , she is my wolf , Selena stated .

And its time I retrieved her and take her back to the temple .

His eyes moved to Belladonna .

His eyes moved from Belladonna to Selena at those words , and there , standing next to the moon Goddess was her wolf , with twin moons for iriss she was pure white and kind of hard to < 104 look at , but power could be felt coming off of her as much as Selena herself .

Freyas fur started to turn black as Selenas hair turned white .

Freya was so dark in colour that she could barely be seen at all , almost as if shed vanished .

She was a colour that was very hard to see because she was as black as the void of space .

When he tilted his head , he could kind of see her , and then not , almost as if Freya was in his peripheral vision only , and he couldnt actually focus upon her , only seen indirectly .

It was as if Freya was now the night sky and Selena was the moon .

Whereas when hed first seen them , everything about Selena had been the night sky and Freya like the moon .

Their appearance changed right before him and he wondered what they would look like if they were together as one .

A portal appeared behind them and Selena turned and walked away into it .

Her wolf , Freya with her .

She was easily seen in that realm with the moon glow all around her .

She was a midnight wolf not visible in this realm because she didnt belong to it .

She belonged in the night realm with their Goddess .

The portal closed , and he was finally released from his immobility and felt his entire pack come back to him as they too , all woke up .

He was released from her will , and he was on the move the moment he was able to move , raced over to Belladonna even as he heard Shannon ask in a groggy manner , What happened ? Belladonna was just laying there on the ground lifeless before him , not breathing and though he could hear her heat beating erratically , there was deep bruising spreading across her chest when he checked the wound shed gotten from their own moon goddess .

Panic was starting to fill not only him but Vex , as they tuned their hearing to her, and they could hear it , blood flowing freely within her body .

She was bleeding internally , and he understood Selenas words .

Belladonnas survival was on him now .
