66 Parker The trip back to the Lustrous moon was made in silence by Parker .

He was more than ticked off about all that he had learned had been done to him .

He couldnt even call that woman and demand answers .

She might well flee the pack knowing he was going to come back and take a piece of her , and not a small one .

Carina would understand that this would be the thing that saw him break their mate bond .

Something she didnt want to happen because she was considered to be married to one very wealthy man ; she liked his money and spending it .

She was in that pack right that minute , and he couldnt even so much as tell her not to leave it , not that he thought she would .

She had no money to her name right this minute , she was still waiting for him to give her access to pack funds once again .

She was still living off of her own money , which was non existent , because she was not a good model .

He couldnt understand how a Goddess Gifted could do this , if shed had a child with another prior to meeting him , he would have accepted the child .

It wasnt the bloody dark ages , blended families were all over the place , though he had to admit , only here in the human realm .

There werent all that many within the Wolfen Kingdom itself .

Some of or most of those Alphas still stuck to the old ways .

He had to have Kane put a call into Katie and tell her to keep an eye on Carina and to call him if she looked like she was going to be leaving the pack for anything at all .

He didnt want her leaving it , but didnt want her to have a heads up on him finding out that she had betrayed him all those years ago either .

She was still living inside the Lunas suite , and that wasnt about to change .

He was done , they were over regardless of what they were to each other , regardless of what she was going to come up with for her reasons as to why shed done this .

There were no valid reasons in his eyes , to see him not know about his son and heir , denying him the right to know of his child , be a part of his life .

Especially when she herself wasnt willing to have children with him .

He wanted a family , always had , and shed not only refused to give him one , but denied him knowledge of the child he had out there in the world .

All he could see when he thought about her now , were lies , betrayal and cruelty .

She had no one inside the pack that would protect her either .

Not even the packs Gamma was going to be on her side .

Shannon himself had called her a b *** h .

His unit had all liked Belladonna .

But he couldnt , not with their mating alliance .

And not once hed learned how she truly felt about being there .

Shed wanted her freedom from him .

Hed had no right to stop her from feeling free for the first time in eight years .

He didnt want her staying inside his pack , thinking she was still a slave to him .

Hed not even thought hearing he loved her would have helped .

Shed not loved him , and would likely have just told him that to his face that she didnt .

He didnt even think she would believe him at that time either .

Yes , she was a kind gentle soul but had wanted her freedom .

It was all he could do for her , and so he had not gone after her when he should have .

Selena was definitely punishing him for not choosing right , but if hed lied about finding his Goddess Gifted , rejected Carina inside her home pack and not told Belladonna at all ; how would she feel when she found out the truth ? Like he had betrayed her and he knew it .

Hed once wished that Belladonna would yell at him , rant and rave , argue with him , that they would fight like a real couple , but his and Carinas arguing had always been there eight years of it , and he knew it was simply because she didnt care for anyone but herself .

Then he mind linked to Carina herself Where are you ? he asked directly , and shed feel his curtness in that tone , but he no longer cared to try and be nice to the woman that had done nothing but deceive him every damned day theyd been together .

She was in for a world of pain and humiliation .

The pack was going to hate her as much as he did right now , when they found out the truth of what shed done , so many lives had been lost , so very many pups and she wolves , and they could all put it down to the current Luna and her deceit where Belladonna was concerned .

He got out of his car and made his way to his office to initiate those that needed it and send them and their Mate back to one of his subsidiary packs or to their new home here inside the main pack .

Shed stated she was in the Luna Suite , and he could feel her up there through the pack tether and his bond to her .

Something that was going to be broken and in short order .

Get down here to my office .

He mind linked to her after hed finished his actual duties with the new pack members .

Dont you order me around .

Youll get your ass down here , or Ill have you brought down here by my unit and dont think they wont do it .

Are my unit and not yours .

I need something youve done explained to me .

So get down here , now .

he grated out all Alpha down that mind link .

Oh like that will work .

If youre not in my office in the next five minutes , Carina , we are done , Ill reject you and kick 3/4 66 8 Point you out of this pack with nothing but the clothes on your back .

Thats how mad I am right this minute .
