75 Parker Parker had requested that Belladonna be present when he arrived at the pack , not to just have her there for no reason , but to let her know that he was inside the pack , and not be surprised by it , or annoyed at suddenly seeing him , if he was unannounced to be there .

He was only a little surprised that shed not punished Gregory Lewis ; because he didnt think she had it in her to do that .

He was more surprised that shed stated Whitney hadnt .

The boy probably took after his mother , hed thought , but then to hear her state he had his temper .

That bothered him .

Hed never really gotten angry with her , only that one time .

He could only put that down to it must have made an impression on her and not one he wanted her to think of him as .

A big part of him wanted to go over there and beat the hell out of Carinas father .

But another part of him didnt want Whitney to hear about it , from others inside the pack that would see it .

He didnt want his sons first impression of him to be anger and rage , so hed wait until hed been introduced and ask his son what he thought should be done .

Hed been robbed of not just his father being in his life , but his title as the Heir to Lustrous Moon because of that man over there hanging from that tree .

It was likely Whitney had his own thoughts on the matter .

The boy was nine and capable of understanding everything that went on back then , and was only just now coming to light and all that was going on around him , now .

He and Kane grabbed their bags and followed Luna Mala into the packhouse and to a suite up on the first floor , while Aston was showing Alpha Gretta and her guards to their rooms .

Mala looked right at him .

Now , Alpha Parker , your length of stay here inside this pack , will be determined by what Bell and Whitney want , not by your insistence on being and Alpha , who thinks he has the rights , to call the shots around here .

I would , however , never actually have made Belladonna leave the child with me and kick her from the pack .

I would simply have asked her to stay and raise it with me inside the pack .

Things would have been very different between us if there was a child born inside our mate bond .

Id have torn up our mating alliance and asked her to stay officially within my pack , as my true mate and Luna .

He sighed a little now as he understood why she was here talking to him .

She was doing what all Lunas did , or should do .

Getting a heads up and knowledge on what those visiting her pack , intentions were .

As well as making sure he knew she would be standing by her pack members and their families in its entirety .

He might well find his mate inside my pack if he hasnt already .

We have very long lives and I have the patience to wait for her to see Ill be a good father and a good Alpha .

That I will not force her back to me just because we have a son together .

Mala stated and turned to walk away only to then stop as he was closing the door Oh , Alpha Parker , Bell wont be leaving this pack without a pack agreement , between yourself and her , Aston and I … You can think of her as … Oh , lets say , my sister and therefore a detailed agreement will have to be made .

Ill expect a war clause in that , then Luna .

He smiled at her and closed the door when she finally turned and walked away .

He could expect nothing less and had known that there was going to be a new deal made if he could get Belladonna and Whit , her daughter , to move to his pack .

But a deal struck ; to protect her and her rights , that he could do .

It would also show her that he valued her , respected her and wanted her to still have the freedom shed craved and left him for ; to attain for herself .

He wanted them to get to know each other properly , get along and come to like each other , date and , hopefully , in time , come back together once more .
