She noted that Whit walked between herself and Parker and when she looked at him , he smiled at her , she let it go , knew they looked like a real family right this minute and he probably liked that .

She felt a hand touch her arm and her eyes moved towards the person touching her .

It was one of the she wolves that had bravely left the Hollowed Moon after many years of living there .

Bell ? How are you , Enid ? Bella asked her .

She stated , using the word dad and not father , because it was what Whit himself had used when asking to come here .

She raised an eyebrow at her own son as he walked off and shook her head a little , but it was the shocked expression on Parkers face that caught her attention .

She watched him shake it off and smile , knew it was the word dad .

His eyes met hers , and she smiled .

It is , Parker acknowledged , It feels really nice , to be honest , to hear that .

Alexi was upset for days afterwards .

She couldnt argue with that .

Alexi had been upset and quiet for several weeks after that day , but Ace had never done it again , realising his own attitude wouldnt just affect him , but his father and where they lived as well .
