92 Parker Whit was completely right about Belladonna ; she was completely clueless about his attentions .

During the days or even coming to this dinner tonight .

Not many wouldnt read into a private dinner between an Alpha of a pack and a she wolf .

And yes , it was a full family dinner , but that was because it wasnt just Belladonna he was trying to get to know or want .

It was all of them as a family , her as his Mate and both Whit and Milly as his children , for all of them to be a family .

Shed not even really looked at the way he was dressed , or thought about that he had picked her up in his car , from her house where they were all staying .

Not the fact that hed already had a car seat set up in the back seat for Milly ; set up in the Alpha to the packs car.

Shed just smiled at him and stated Thank you , that saves me moving mine .

But that had been it .

Whit had snorted as hed gone around to the other side of the car and looked right at him .

I told you so .

hed half laughed at him .

His own son thought it was very funny , and had told him just yesterday , Dad , if youre not blunt , she wont get it , doesnt understand what youre doing .

Parker had frowned at Whit , all women read into things men did for them or around them .

Clearly not Belladonna , hed dropped pretty much everything he was doing and had Kane or one of his unit do it , if she walked into a room where he was , she pretty much had his undivided attention .

Over the past six months , hed smiled at her all the time , was polite and asked her about herself , lots of questions to get to know her , and he listened and learned about her , answered any questions she had of him .

Though there werent many .

Tonight he was actively putting all hed learned on display for her to see , that he had gotten to know her .

Whit thought it was very funny , snorted soda out of his nose at one point , which had little Milly laughing in her chair and made him blink .

Hed not seen that coming , but as hed looked at Belladonna she was staring at Whit with a very confused expression .

Parker realised as he looked back to his boy that he was tormenting his own mother in some way , likely with how blind she was to what he was doing .

What was going on in this very room .

He had asked her directly to have dinner with him , as a family .

And thought that had been self explanatory , but clearly not .

Belladonnas eyes moved to him , and he smiled at her , as they narrowed on him now , like they had done on Whitney .

What are you doing ? she asked him .

Having dinner with you and the children , He answered her and saw her nod As a family .

He added as an afterthought , just to see what her reaction to those words were .

I thought it would be nice , just the four of us , He commented .

He had seen several of his pack members stare at them as hed pulled his car up out the front of the packhouse , at the base of the stairs , and theyd all gotten out .

Shed not waited on him to open the door for her , which had made him frown .

But hed let it go .

His pack was seeing him all dressed up , he was wearing a light grey suit and a light blue dress shirt , they had watched him walk with her and the children like a family up the stairs ; both children between them .

Just three days of her and the children being here inside the pack and all eyes were on him and her , they were he knew watching their own Alphas actions where Belladonna was concerned .

They werent so dumb , knew just by watching him what he wanted .

Anything you want .

He picked up one of the pairs of tongs off the platter .

Ill get it for you , he told her , and Milly pointed to a fancy macaroon and a strawberry tartlet .

He put both on the plate in front of her , and she smiled up at him , and he knew that slowly , but surely he was going to be able to win the little girl over .

She was just terribly shy .

Though she was starting to come out of her shell around him .

She no longer shied away from him when he tried to hand her something or smiled at her .

Though trying to pick her up or hold her hand was still a no go , she wouldnt allow anyone here to do that , not even Shannon .

She had trust issues ingrained into her , but he would never hurt her , and she would learn that over time .

So , he didnt push with her , just offered his hand if she was walking without holding Whit or Belladonnas , and if she said nothing or turned away , he left it alone .

There was no need to force things , but small gestures towards her would show her that he wasnt just going to be all about her big brother and ignore her , that she didnt matter .

He actually thought she was cute and adorable , could see the bond between her and Whit , and it was as close as any sibling bond .

Milly ran to Whit with a happy , loving smile and his son never turned her away or ignored her , often just held his hand out to her or picked her up to walk off with her .

She was only tiny .

Belladonnas blood bonding had created a scent of Alpha for the little girl .

Belladonna had told him shed scented of warrior to her when theyd first met her .

Which most wolves did if they werent born into ranked members bloodlines , or omega born , but what her parents lineage actually was ? No one knew .

She was pretty as a picture and 3/4 92 likely looked just like her birth mother , whoever she was .
