Cold Husband Burning Regret: The Divorce He Couldn't Handle novel Chapter 432

By the time they pried Tricia away, the female lawyer was still in shock. The guards noticed several deep scratches on her neck and immediately called for Tricia's attending physician.

The doctor, who had heard about the suicide attempts, was now faced with this unprovoked attack. "Her physical injuries have been healing well during her stay here," he said, looking troubled, "but this is the first time she's been violent toward anyone."

The lead guard considered this. He was about to report the incident as a deliberate assault, but the lawyer herself intervened. "She has suicidal tendencies and is now showing violent behavior. This could be psychological. We should have her undergo a psychiatric evaluation as soon as possible."

The guard thought for a moment. "I'll have to report this to my superiors before we make a decision."

Vera, who had been standing in the crowd, watched the entire scene unfold. As everyone dispersed, she hurried away and rushed to Charlotte's office.

"Charlotte!"

Charlotte looked up from the file she was reading. Vera hurried to her desk, out of breath. "Tricia just attacked one of the people from the Justice Bureau! Now they're talking about sending her for a psychiatric evaluation!"

Charlotte froze, her face betraying nothing. After a long moment, she said calmly, "That's too much of a coincidence."

"Exactly! The Justice Bureau had just taken over when she suddenly attacked someone," Vera said, frowning. "I'm sure she's faking it!"

"Even if she is, she can't fake the results of a professional evaluation," Charlotte murmured, taking a deep breath as the answer became clear. "Unless…"

"So, are we just going to stand by and watch?"

Charlotte was silent. If someone inside the Justice Bureau was helping Tricia by forging the evaluation results, her only chance to stop it was to find out if the report was genuine. She didn't know anyone there, but…

She picked up her phone and called Mrs. Chamberlain.

The next day, Tricia was taken to the Justice Bureau for her evaluation. The results would be ready in two days.
