Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1527

Amelia began wondering if Jessica could finally get her meaning this time.

To her surprise, Jessica burst out laughing. "I know that you're trying to convince into giving up my revenge plan! That's why you're exaggerating."

"I'm not exaggerating! I'm telling you the truth!" Amelia wished that Jessica could read her mind at this time. "Look at me in my eyes. Do you really think that I'm lying in your face?"

Jessica raised her eyebrows doubtfully. "If he were a drug dealer like you said so, why didn't Hopper arrested him when he rescued you?"

Amelia blurted out, "Owen did arrest him!"

Having thought of something, Jessica muttered, "In that case, Sawyer is being detained in prison now, isn't he?"

"Um..."

Jessica snorted, "You hesitated! This mean that you're lying!"

Amelia could not feel more wronged at this moment. However, she struggled to explain to Jessica why Owen eventually chose to let Sawyer go after arresting him.

Had she known what had happened between Sawyer and Jessica, she would never sympathy and beg for mercy on behalf of Sawyer at the first place! No amount of words could describe how

much she regretted of her action at this moment.

Jessica said solemnly, "Amelia, if you take me seriously as your friend, then don't stop me."

Amelia advised her, "I stop you because you're my friend! You know what, he almost killed Brittany at my house simply because she said something to offed him. If he were capable of anything cruel at my own house, what will happen to you when you invade his territory?"

Jessica looked at Amelia deeply. "Oh? He had been to your house before?"

Amelia could not help feeling eerie when Jessica stared at her like that. "Yes he had been there before. But what does it have to do with what we're talking now?"

"Then you can invite him over to your house. I can hide at your house and..." Jessica gestured a sign of slaughtering her neck as she finished off her sentence.

The corner of Amelia's mouth twitched. Putting aside that Jessica plan was no doubt reckless, it was impossible for Amelia to return to The Ramsay's Residence anymore. After all, she had lost the right to do so.

Jessica noticed the glimpse of sorrow that flashed across Amelia's face, so she asked concerningly, "What's wrong?"

"I'm fine." Disguising her feeling, Amelia said, "If you were to revenge him, you should at least come out with a refined plan. Sawyer is not an ordinary person to tackle with. Otherwise, you're going to lose your life before you can execute your revenge against him. That will be unworthy at all, do you understand?"

Jessica gave her a solemn nod. "Got it."

Feeling worried still, Amelia reminded her again, "Promise me that you will first come to me when you have any plans on your mind."

"Mm."

It was only then Amelia heaved a sigh in relief. Although she too wished to strangle Sawyer to his death at this time, she had not lost her mind. After all, Sawyer was definitely not someone who could be taken down easily. It was only if they could use some help from Owen and Patrick that they might succeed in their plan.

Getting caught by her thinking, all in a sudden Amelia's phone began ringing at this time. She took out her phone only to realize that it was Patrick who was calling.

Jessica's story undoubtedly reminded Amelia of the unpleasant past. She could not help but recall those days when Patrick used to hurt her for the sake of protecting Sissi. Having that thought in mind, all in a sudden she did not feel answering his call.

Noticing that Amelia stared at her phone frowningly, Jessica could not help asking, "Amelia, who's the one calling?"

Amelia blurted out, "It's Patrick."

Jessica asked perplexingly, "Why don't you answer his call?"

Amelia pouted, "I'm sulking. I don't feel like answering now."

Jessica chuckled, "You're feeling jealous of his past!"

Amelia could not help flushing embarrassingly, "Hey you!"

Jessica continued daringly, "Am I wrong?"

At last, Amelia gave up her protest, "Fine! I'm feeling jealous now!"

Jessica persuaded, "Don't get affected by my own affairs! He has nothing to do with all these! I'll feel bad if I'm the reason that put both of you into a fight! Hurry and pick up the phone!"

It was only then Amelia swiped right to answer the call reluctantly.

In the next second, Patrick began speaking from the other end of the call, "Amy, it's already noon time. Have you finished talking?"

Amelia subconsciously glanced at her watch only to realize that it was almost half past eleven. Glancing at Jessica, she hesitated, "Um..."

Jessica noticed that Amelia glanced at her watch, so she could not help but blink at her in gesture that she could leave.

It was only then Amelia replied to Patrick, "I'll come out in another moment."

Patrick answered smilingly, "I'll wait for you."

As soon as Amelia put down her phone, Jessica asked smilingly, "Duty call from him?"

Amelia gave Jessica a tiny nod. "He asked me when I'm ready to leave. I asked for another

moment."

Jessica could not help saying, "He really does love you."

As for the strawberry pudding, the truth was desserts were never his cup of tea. However, he would never injure her feelings. That did not mean that he could not change a way and make the dessert more enjoyable.

"Amy, you know very well that I'm not a fan of sweetness."

Amelia could only give him an apologetic smile. Jessica's shop mainly served coffee and desserts. That was why she could not find anything without sugar content in the menu the shop offered. She had no other choice but to order a strawberry pudding.

At the sight of Amelia's regretful expression, Patrick could not help smiling secretly. He continued with his next move, "But if it were you who feed me, I guess I'll eat it no matter how sweet it is."

Amelia immediately understood that he was hinting her to serve him. That was not impossible at all considering the fact that she had made him into waiting for half an hour.

After removing the food wrapper, Amelia picked up the spoon provided and began scooping a spoonful of strawberry pudding. Putting another hand under the spoon, she brought the spoon near to Patrick's lips. "Open your mouth..."

Staring at the delicate face which was at this moment inches away, Patrick could not help but sighing in awe of her beauty. He then opened his mouth and swallowed the small bite of strawberry pudding on the spoon as if he was feasting the most delicious delicacy in the world.

At the sight of this, Amelia's hand that was holding the spoon trembled unnoticeably. She could not help but have this feeling that his way of tasting the dessert was devilish.

Patrick reminded smilingly when he saw the distracted look of Amelia's face, "Mrs. Hopper, I want some more."

"Um... Yeah, I'll give you now." As soon as those words fell, Amelia could not help feeling more eerie.

Amelia spoon-fed Patrick until he finished all the strawberry pudding. It took him less than five minutes to swallow everything into his stomach.

Amelia stared at him speechlessly. A moment ago he claimed that he was not a fan of sweetness. However, at this moment, she could not help but doubt the accuracy of his statement earlier.

"Is there any more in there?" Patrick's gaze fell onto the paper bag where there was a logo of the coffee shop printed on it.

Amelia flattened the paper bag through emptying the air in there in front of him. She then shook her head and said, "There isn't any more."

"Oh." It was only then Patrick withdrew his gaze from the paper bag.

Amelia could not help but notice the glimpse of regret on his face. She could not help but wonder what he was thinking at this moment."

She cleared her throat before asking, "So where are we going now?"

Patrick answered his question, "We'll go back home and cook. I bought some fresh vegetables and fish from the grocer nearby."

Amelia could not help but stare at him surprisingly.

"What's wrong? Why are you staring at me like a retard?" At the sight of her eyes popping out in shock, Patrick could not help but reach out to pinch her cheek.

It was only then Amelia said sincerely, "Mr. Hopper, you're such a piece of husband material now. Trust me. I'm not kidding."
