Thinking of this, Sawyer's smile faded away in silence.

He looked at the man in black who was holding Jessica sternly and said, "Take care of her. This is where she lives from now on. Also, without my permission, no one is allowed to send her food and drinks."

"Yes, sir!"

"Ptui!" Jessica spat. "Who wants to eat your food? Give me back my backpack. I can feed myself!"

"Even if I give you your backpack back, what can you do? The bread and milk in it will only last you until tomorrow. Also, the whole island belongs to me. Who else do you want to do business with?" Every word Sawyer said seemed to be setting up difficulties for Jessica.

Jessica turned her head back and glared at him. "Your master is gone. Can you let me go jow?"

The man in black pondered for a moment. Sawyer did not give orders to impose personal restrictions on Jessica, so the man released his grip on her obediently.

Jessica rubbed her aching elbow. When she turned around, she saw Yash walking over with a medical kit on his back.

Remembering that he was the first person she saw when she woke up, Jessica cried out to him.

After Yash realised that she was calling for him, he pointed at himself and asked, "Miss, are you calling me?"

"Hmm," Jessica replied and flung the man in black away from her. She approached Yash and asked, "Dr. Jensen, my name is Jessica Albert. Will you come and change my bandage tomorrow?"

"Yes, as long as Ms. Albert needs medical assistance." Yash was completely impartial.

"Okay. See you tomorrow then!" Jessica's attitude was much friendlier than before, which flummoxed Yash. He had assumed that she was one of Sawyer's honoured guests.

As soon as Yash left, Jessica immediately pulled a long face and said to the man in black, "You. Show me around this place."

"Ha. Does she take this place as her home?" The man in black thought, displeased.

The man in black was unwilling to do that, so he did not move from his spot.

Jessica could not help but 'remind' him of Sawyer's words as she saw this. "Your master said that this is where I stay from now on. It's not too much for me to look around, is it?"

The man in black sneered at that. "Do you think my master treats you like a VIP? We can talk if you even survive!"

"Whether I survive or not is none of your business. Are you trying to defy your master's order?"

The man in black realized that this woman not only took this place as her home, but she had also regarded herself as the hostess. The man would endure her first, then he would report her arrogance to Sawyer and wait for him to finish her!

The man in black felt a little better after thinking about it. Just as he was about to show Jessica around, she spoke again.

"Stop right there!"

"What do you want again?" The man in black asked impatiently.

Jessica looked down at her bare feet and asked, "Where are my shoes?"

"I don't know!" The man spat with malicious intent, "But you can go to the shoe cabinet and get a pair of slippers, but those slippers belong to sir."

Jessica immediately expressed in disgust, "I don't want to wear his stinky shoes!"

"Up to you then." The man did not want her to touch Sawyer's belongings as well.

When the man in black brought Jessica to visit the gym room, Jessica imagined using a pair of dumbbells to kill Sawyer. When the man in black then led her to the bedroom, she imagined the crystal chandelier above her head falling and smashing down on Sawyer. Then, when the man brought her to the kitchen, she imagined all sorts of ways of 'cooking up' Sawyer.

It took them more than ten minutes to tour around the villa. After visiting the whole place, Jessica's legs were almost worn out. Her left calf that was clawed by a bear was not doing any better either!

"No way! I can't walk anymore. I'm going to take a rest!" Jessica did not want to ruin her leg before she could kill Sawyer.

The man in black immediately took her to a tiny room with a small door. He pointed inside and said, "This is where you're going to stay."

"I was just scaring her." If Amelia knew that he had told Jessica to survive in the wild forest, she would probably convince Abner to stay at Ryan's place for the rest of his life!

The man in black scratched his head and answered, "Ah... You were only scaring her? I thought you wanted to make her retreat or let those wild beasts eat her!"

As they conversed, Sissi walked over with a look of affection on her face. Sawyer shot the man in black a look, and the man in black immediately lowered his head and left.

"What's wrong? Why did he run away as soon as he saw me?" Sissi wrapped her arms around Sawyer's sturdy waist as she giggled.
