Tyler arched a brow. “There’s no point in whatever I promise you right now, is there? You probably aren’t someone who trusts another man just because of what he says.”
Indeed, Jerry wasn’t someone like that.
He had always judged something based on what he saw for himself and not on what others said.
“Just look on to see if I’m serious about Rachel,” Tyler said straightforwardly.
Jerry said nothing more after that.
The two of them started heading back. When they arrived at the entrance, Jerry held Tyler back.
“Do you think the two of them will start fighting?”
“Probably not.”
Jerry thought back on how Anne looked when she came in and said, “Somehow, I sense that something is off. Anne didn’t look very good just now.”
Jerry’s innocent expression made Tyler burst out laughing once more, his deep chuckle ringing in the air.
Jerry didn’t like Tyler, but even as a man, he had to admit that Tyler was outstanding in various aspects.
That was probably why Rachel liked him.
As long as Rachel was happy, Jerry didn’t mind it much. Nothing was more important than Rachel’s happiness.
Jerry had seen women fight before, and they could certainly fight as well as men. He instinctively took a step
back.
“Why don’t you head in and take a look?”
Tyler smirked before pushing the door open calmly.
“Ms. Charlton, that settles it. We’ll do it according to what we agreed before. Please let me know if you have any questions.”

Tyler and Jerry were both confused at the sight before them.
Upon seeing Tyler, Rachel asked, “You guys are back already?”
“Yeah. Are you done with your discussion?”
典
Tyler was caught off guard by what he saw, but he knew Rachel and was aware that she fully had the ability to deal with this as long as she wanted to.
“Yeah.” Jerry nodded before approaching Rachel. He noticed how dry and chapped her lips were.
“Rachel, drink some water. With your current condition, you should be resting and putting work aside.”

“Don’t worry, I know my limits.” Rachel eagerly shared with Tyler the good news. “Mr. Hunt, Ms. Charlton has agreed to sign the contract with us.”
“Yes, I could tell.”
Tyler saw the bright smile on Rachel’s pale face, which brightened up her complexion and made her look like she was in high spirits.
Jerry saw the approval in Tyler’s eyes as he looked at her and felt pride surge forth in his heart.
Rachel didn’t realize that she liked Tyler and that she was somehow affected by him.
Just then, Anne raised her voice and said, “I want to make one thing clear. I didn’t sign the contract because of you. I signed it because of Ms. Lloyd’s professionalism.”
“Alright, I understand,” Tyler nodded in agreement.
He was also of the opinion that Rachel was as capable as a man, perhaps even keener and more impressive.
“Excuse me. May I know who Rachel Lloyd and Anne Charlton are?”
Rachel and Anne both turned their attention to the door and saw policemen standing right there. They knew immediately that it must be regarding what happened last night.
